We came into town for a family Christmas party. We called the deli at this Kroger store at 11:00 in the morning to set up a tray for pick up at 4:00 in the afternoon. My wife was very explicit about what we wanted. We wanted a platter prepared with half buffalo wings and 1/2 chicken tenders. My wife was very detailed in her questions and how many it would serve and was told that the buffalo wings and chicken tenders would cost a total of $24.99. We got there at exactly 4:00 p.m. and went and grabbed a few small items and were at the deli counter at 4:07. We were informed that the tenders were almost done and the wings were not started yet. We waited a half hour and when she gave us aazsthe order it was not prepared on a platter..it was in foil bins and...... it was $24.99 EACH!!!!! By this time we were late for our party and my wife was shaking mad. If we would've had time we would have lodged a complaint with the manager. The deli clerk took a sharpie and wrote a note on top of the foil to take $5.00 off our order for the delay. When we got to the register, the checkout clerk was unsure what was going on. I am sure that this is not proper procedure because both my wife and I have had a combined 49 years in retail. I would not recommend this place to anyone . Oh by the way...... when we opened the wings at the party, the chicken wings...
Read moreWorse experience ever today with the blond hair pharmacist. Had an issue with a script that I needed for a serious medical condition. I have no proof that my daughter ever picked them up but they said my daughter got it along with six more. I stated that she could have lost it but I needed it filled today and I would pay for it. I waited at the drive through for 30 minutes to get to the window and pharmacist said he would not refill it for me while I was at window. I told him it would take five minutes to put them in a bottle while I waited but he refused. He said that I had to come back in 45 minutes and sit in line another 30 minutes. I told him I needed it for a serious medical condition and he said he would not fill it today. He then pulled the blind down at the window. He has no problem solving skills and his solution to resolving a serious medical related issue was to withhold the medicine I needed. I was upset but not angry at all. I was adamant about needing the medicine now. Their drive through is closed much of the time leaving people with disabilities like myself without a way to pick up needed meds. Also filled a medical neglect with...
Read moreTerrible shopping experience here. Nothing is ever stocked employees look miserable and don’t want to help you. I don’t recommend this store the one in Shepherdsville is much better friendlier employees willing to help. Shepherdsville will be my main store. You have 2 registers open one side of uscan open those employees are always on their phones. I’ll never step foot in this Kroger again. Meat counter is always closed and employees just standing around talking together when you go ask them where something is they just look at you. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. Employees in the store complain about their jobs to customers I was standing at the deli and a lady behind the counter just was complaining about being there having to work and they better move her to a different department or she’s leaving. This place must be miserable to work if employees are venting...
