This was one of my favorite locations to go to however what I witnessed on Friday when I stopped in to look around will keep me from ever going back. When I came in there was an employee going off on another employee in the front of the store! It made me uncomfortable and then it made me angry when I noticed that the person yelling was a TEAM LEAD and he was going off on someone with a disability, all over a comment she had made over his hair from what I could gather. After she had walked away upset, he began loudly complaining about a write up he received for being late. I ended up leaving the store because I was not ok with what I saw and that he was still going about other things. I did end up going back in because I needed to say something to someone about it. When I went back in and was waiting to talk to a manger, he began disrespecting another employee with disabilities. The person in line looked at me and was just as mad because she had just been talking to this employee. I told the manger what I had seen and how disappointed I was that not only was a team lead doing this in front of customers but treating other people with disrespect loud and out in the open. No one should be disrespected by a team lead in front of customers especially employees with...
Read moreMy family and I go out of our way to save things and contribute to the Goodwill. We like the concept of repurposing and helping others stay employed. We consistently have used this location but have recently had issues. My elderly mother saw a worker turn away donations a few weeks back. The same individual would not help my 73 year old mother remove a bag from her SUV. I myself was turned away today by the same person. Was told after a 5 second scan of my items that it would just be thrown away. Without going into detail, i dont donate junk.
The real issue is that there was already several items at the donation door and accepting more would equate to "more work." I thought the purpose of the Goodwill was to keep people employed through taking in and organizing donations.
I guess this location prefers you donate brand new things. Actually it seems they prefer you just not be a buzzkill and bring...
Read morepushy cashier who joined lately and will ask you to round up 3 times and try to make you feel guilty.
My main issue is that I was there a few weeks ago and she told me that there is a lot of theft, which is everywhere, BUT then she pointed her finger at me, poked my shoulder and asked me to bring the items that I had in my hand -in a rude and slow speech- after getting out of the locker room, the way she spoke to me felt like I don't understand english. I asked if she was for real, then she was frozen for 5 seconds, laughed and said "I'm just messing with you". I don't know what her problem is but there are cameras everywhere, I was still nice enough and answered respectfully. I have been coming to this store every other week or so for 3 solid years now and never had such experience.. I might not visit this...
