We went in as a group of 8 on Saturday night and we sat at two tables. me and my fiancé and two of our friends order first and then they took our other table with our other friends orders. our food came out first and at our table our two friends enjoyed their food, however when I took a bite of mine I became extremely nauseous. About 30 minutes had past and our friends had not received their food. they were told it got put in wrong and it would be out shortly. one by one their food came but each time a plate was brought the next friend didn’t get theirs for about 20 minutes. one friend got a burger and fries, the cheese on the sandwich had just been thrown in there and wasn’t warm and his fries tasted like straight oil that made you want to get sick. the next friend got chicken tenders and tots and the tenders were good and warm, but the tots were cold. me and my fiancé and two friends ended up leaving after we ate and we were told once we got home that our one friend ended up waiting an hour and half for their food. waking up Sunday morning my fiancé can’t eat, has thrown up 8 times and can’t keep anything down at all and has a severe case of food poisoning. I hate to be the one to ever do something like this but we were even told that they only had 1-2 fryers working so I’m wondering if something got crossed contaminated and made him sick. I’ve been to another cluckers location and I do like the food but no one felt good after leaving, not to mention I got sick as soon as I got home. I know they just opened and I don’t think anyone meant any harm but i just wanted to state what happened so it hopefully doesn’t happen...
Read moreI usually wait longer before visiting a newly opened restaurant, but the opportunity presented itself. We got onion rings and fried banana peppers for appetizers. Their onion rings are pretty solid. I usually like them with ketchup, but the sauce they come with works really well. The banana peppers are something else. They're crunchy and tangy and would go really well on a sandwich, or a salad. We got boneless wings, one with Spicy Thai, and one Spicy Hot BBQ. If you want heat, you better go higher. I'm not a fire eater, but the Spicy Thai barely registered. It tasted pretty good, but not much heat. The BBQ was a little odd. It was vaguely smoky, with no heat. Went back a couple of weeks later to try out their burgers. They taste like hamburgers, which should be a "no duh" kind of thing except in recent years it's not a given. More often they taste like condiments and a stale bun with no hint of actual hamburger meat.
So I got a good burger and house made chips for about the same price as a crappy...
Read moreThis was our first time trying Cluckers and it exceeded expectations! Pur server Shannon, was super friendly and gave us some great recommendations on appetizers and meals. We ended up trying the fried pickles, spicy cheese bites, and the 1/2 mozzarella sticks; which are huge! I loved all 3, especially the spicy cheese bites; definitely a new favorite app. For meals, my mother and I did the loaded quesdilla and wings respectfully with a side of their house chips to split. The chips were hot, and very crunchy, like a nice cooked kettle cooked chip. They allowed for the wings to be ordered as all flats which was nice and the food was delicious. Everything was hot, correct, and pretty quick. Prices are what you would expect for similar places like Roosters or Hooters. 10/10 will...
