ok so let me start this by saying I never review anything, I'm too lazy, and I don't like to complain, especially about the service industry because I've been there and I understand the hassle and hustle.
I went to the DQ on Outer Loop today around 10:00pm to get 2 blizzards because I'm a chick and late night ice cream is my only vice. Anyways, I get there, and there's 7 cars in line already. Now, I'm no dummy, and I'm well aware that DQ is infamously slow at drivethru (especially the Outer Loop location) so I knew I'd be there for a solid 15 minutes.
I. WAS. THERE. FOR. 30. MINUTES.
but I'm willing to let that slide, like I said, not a complainer. What I do feel the need to conplain about that will hopefully produce some kind of improvement for the location, is that after waiting 30 minutes to get to the window, I was greeted oddly by a man who told me the price while simultaneously ignoring me to converse with his coworkers and took my card and just... laid it on the counter. 3 minutes later a lady comes to the window with my 2 blizzards that are 70% melted and even room temp to the touch of the cups and the lady is just standing there with them WIPING ALL OF THE MELTED ICE CREAM OFF THE CUPS AND DRIPPING THEM EVERYWHERE. Forever thankful she didn't even attempt to do the usual upside down thing they're supposed to do.
After smearing the melted ice cream all over the cups, she handed them to me, apologized (?????) and then realized my card was sitting on the counter, swiped it, and gave it back to me.
is this real life? I've honestly only ever had good experiences at this DQ during breakfast hours so I've adapted to not expect much during evening hours, BUT SERIOUSLY?? still kinda waiting for someone to pop out with a camera and tell me I had just encountered an elaborate prank but I've also been waiting for that to happen since Trump was elected too so... congrats Outer Loop DQ, you're the biggest disappointment...

The door grade says A, but somebody had to get paid off. Looked like the grade was taped on with "a" piece of scotch tape after they made paper airplanes out of it....hummm? I'd guess it to maybe be a D if you're generous. Floors Greasy throughout and dangerous to walk on. Every table was dirty except the one where an employee was on his phone. The order counter was nasty and even the cash register had grime and grease all over it. Taking a look in the back and can see the food prep areas are no better. Even the darn Dairy Queen chrome logo above the cakes, blizzard area are unacceptable. First step in the door was filth and the last step out was the same. What kind of management allow this to be alright? It smelled like hobos were camping out in the place!
Then I take a look at Google reviews at this place and it confirmed my suspicions. Shut this place down or overhaul it with new management that gives a rats arse. Corporate should have more of a role in babysitting places like this. Bad thing is, this place had plenty of help and it wasn't even busy. Why the heck is nobody cleaning or looking like they even care?
It's that bad...unreal! Last time I will ever step foot into a Dairy Queen. This place is a representation of the entire fleet I'm willing to bet. If corporate can't read into what's going on at this place, then I expect the rest of the locations to suffer from the same plague!
You've been forewarned. "F" is for many things - can you guess in which way it's to be used in this narrative? You guessed it! Fantastically, Freaking,...

The people working there are not friendly at all. When someone spends 15 minutes in a drive through waiting for food you think someone would say something to you.... Especially when your the only customer in line. They always take my order and never talk again. Get to the window and there is usually no "hello" or "your total came to..." nothing but an outstretched hand expecting to get paid. I won't say rude, but I will say extremely I friendly. I have given the benefit of the doubt too many times on this.
Getting food orders right isn't easy, a lot goes on behind the counter that the customer never sees. But I swear my order is never right. Never!!! Then to get it fixed you become the problem and a bother. The amount of food and money they waste getting things right must be staggering.
The health inspection score today was low on the window. It was a C, I think it actually was a score of 72. These usually don't scare me. I really am a laid back guy, but today I thought about the big picture..... They really don't want my business. Maybe in the back of my mind I was hopeful that they at least cleaned the store correctly even though they didn't do much else right; I was wrong.
Even though I am a fan of DQ, I am beginning to see that this location has no need for my business. They are content without having repeat business. Google review shows a 2.0 at the time of my review! It's time to do something about your business DQ. As much as I hate it, chick-fil-a has a new location down the street from you. I at least know they appreciate...
