Five Guys — Restaurant in Louisville

I give a restaurant three tries. This is the third for this place for me. This was take out each time. The burger is a meh at best. Tasteless, absolutely no seasoning at all, A little salt and pepper would be a great addition! The fries are decent. However they always throw extras in the bag to overfill the cup. Extra is appreciated but it made the bag so greasy it was all over my seat. I have a 5 minute drive BTW. Ordered the burger all the way, so all the condiments were on it. And I believe that is exactly what you are paying for. This place is not cheap by any means. My order was $23 and some change for a Double Cheese, reg. fry and a shake. The onions are steamed and not "grilled". Just cause they are on a grill doesn't mean they are grilled. The Burger is a complete mess. Has no flavor but the condiments that are so overwhelming and more than twice the height as the meat. In the trash it went after two bites. Would have been better to put the condiments in a bowl and call it a salad. Three strikes you are out. Never again. I gave 2 stars for the fries. They did taste ok and at least had some salt on them unlike anything else. Service was great, everyone there was nice. Why is this place regarded as being really good when it is mediocre at best. You can get a much better tasting burger for the price...

The ONLY saving grace of this visit was that I got a refund for the order. I placed my order at about 7:50, burger was ready about 8:15. Call ahead didn't seem much better since the guy sitting next to me was waiting an extremely long time for his order as well.

I waited. I watched. The manager appears to be the only one cooking. 1 guy taking orders, 1 girl cleaning the dining area (that was quite messy) and another girl whose job it seemed was to tell off the customers. Eventually another lady emerges from the back and appeared to be dressing the burgers.

When I finally got the burger it was half-wrapped and stuffed into the bag with fries so salty they were inedible until dusted off.

I hope this place gets it together, 5 Guys has always been a great place for a burger...I think I'll avoid this location in the future.

The Manager Guy and the team member Steve were both awesome 😎 people to interact with. I told them that it was our first time visiting Five Guys and that it was great seeing a place where everyone was able to enjoy working with each other. The food was great. My Family had been telling me how amazing all Five Guys was but ESPECIALLY THIS LOCATION!!! I actually live closer to the Dixie Hwy location but I happened to be in the area shopping and I figured that it would be a great opportunity for our group to try something different and be surprised at the same time. Don’t be confused because this isn’t FAST FOOD…… it’s GREAT FOOD FAST!!! I can’t believe that you can still go to a restaurant and eat and get it right the FIRST TIME!! The young man that was ringing up our order was extremely helpful and got our order PERFECT!! The board that stated what farm and the city and state it was in was...
