I liked this place, I would be happy to eat here again, but I doubt I'll be going out of my way for it.

I paid $17 for my meal, but I ordered a lot and this portion would easily feed two people. I think you could easily eat here for under $10 if you drink water. I got a two meat and two side plate, which was 9.99, an order of 4 rangoons, and a large drink.

The meat was very good, but the sides were a bit disappointing. The fried rice was district, individual grains, a bit on the dry side, but lacking in flavor in my opinion. There is some egg, but no veggies in the fried rice. The lo mein is similar, good texture but flat flavor. The noodles are thick and chewy, and there is some cabbage, a bit less than would be in Panda Express.

The bourbon chicken is good, the flavor and texture reminds me of thighs and drumsticks on the grill, it's very well done. It is lacking in sauce though, I'm accustomed to a sort of glaze on bourbon chicken, and this is a different take. There is some thin sauce in the bottom of the container, but it didn't stick to the chicken well, and I didn't realize it was there until I had eaten most of the chicken! I also got the peking chicken. It's exactly what I expected, tastes great, no notes.

The crab rangoons are top tier! Shatteringly crisp, good ratio of filling, great flavor. I'm very glad I added them to my order.

Service was solid, very efficient. It's clear they're set up to move a lot of people through quickly, as one would expect in a mall food court. Signage is very clear and direct. The format is similar to Panda Express.

The common dining area obviously isn't in the control of this individual vendor, but it is a nice place to sit and eat. Large, open, and Lisa of...

As usual most of the food booths had nobody in line , one or two booths had a line of one or two people but when I got in line at Max Orient there was a line with 12 - 14 people ahead of me. But since this is the norm Max Orient is prepared for it and keep the line moving pretty fast. I like the fact that you can walk up to the glass cases holding the food and ask for and get a free sample of any of the meat choices. My wife and I shared the "two meats and two sides" Rice is always one of our sides and we like to ask for them to pour some of the juice from one of the spicy meats over it for a little extra kick. It doesn't come with it but all you have to do is ask for plates and the face us two styrofoam plates with the dividers at n/charge...so we were able to eat it while it was hot at one of the tables there in the food court. You do need to watch your time if it's near closing because mall security comes around about 15 minutes after closing letting you know you have 5 more minutes and if you are still there you will be asked to leave the Mall. "This time" Mall security was polite about it. I highly recommend you try them out if you like this type of food. And for the record they are not skimpy on their portions. So for around $8 we both got full and had leftovers to take home. We will eat here again and...

First time trying this establishment and thought it would be pretty good as the line was from the start to the end of the food court aisle. I ordered the bourbon chicken and fried rice. The meal started out pretty good, rice was bland but fresh as was the chicken. As I finished a small portion of the chicken at the bottom of my container there was something white which I initially assumed was egg whites from the rice. As I picked it up I noticed it was a small piece of already chewed gum. Disgusted and immediately sick to my stomach I spit everything I had just eaten into a napkin. Returned to the register and requested to speak with the manager in which an older gentleman approached and I explained to him what was found in my meal and he examined it and asked well what can I do for you? I said well, I can't eat it. He asked if I wanted my money back in which I agreed of course. There was not even an apology, and even the look of anger that he had to return my money. Well sir, think of how I felt knowing I had just eaten chicken with someone's gum and saliva soaking in the same sauce. I will NEVER eat here again, and will caution any and everyone to check their food from here and any...
