While the majority of employees are nice and kind, that's about the end of the good in our family's opinion. The gm always seems frustrated and irritated when he has to deal us
It's more expensive than Round1 was. The cost of the games is also mostly higher as well. The dnd claw game never grasps always slides around the prizes. The giant claw machines are cool, until you realise they all are 32 credits even if one is filled with 5,000 tickets and another is 10,00.
The mini golf course is finally open on both sides, but the side that was closed for the longest time is essentially the same hole set up for the majority of its blue course.
The pop box machine near the gate always seems to be empty.
There aren't many racing games either.
The minions water race game has not been on any time we've been in since opening. There are no real rythmn games to be had for the most part. Over the edge the left side has been down since opening, and I've told the workers about its malfunction every time we are in because if you don't know how the game is supposed to work, it's a cheat out of money. Not to mention that at least 2 times I've shown workers the malfunction and they say they'll come right back and fix it only for them to not return, and I know it's at least for over 45 minutes because we are playing the working side or something nearby. Due to only one side functioning that side is regularly empty.
Bumper cars are pretty nice.
This is all not to mention that one of the professional arcade youtubers we follow visited and did a video with similar complaints about over charged prices on games and what not at this...
Read moreOn Saturday March 29@6pm we brought birthday party to your facility at Jefferson Mall to start with we were told we would have to wait other people were using the lanes. We had reservations. Customer service was in need of some training asked if we had swiped card yet it was paid on line. Finally put us on lane 1 lane 2 in not working under maintenance. After first couple of balls being thrown. Started get F and only letting us throw one ball. We just let it go for a while then finally got someone to come assist us. Was told they could move us to another lane but our time was almost up. They said we should have probably not been put on that lane. We asked for refund girl said we don't do refunds and walked off. Manager or supervisor came to us we explained everything again. He said he couldn't do a refund but offered a $30 gift card to the birthday boy. He found some games swiped his card. And to continue on we had to get assistance with the games on the floor wouldn't reset bowling then clear off round. Waited forever for ball return. And we were not the only people having issues. Played a shooting game several times no scores registered others had same issues there as well. When he went to redeem off his free $30 card it showed 15 damn point equaling 1 damn tootsie available what a ripe off. He really enjoyed you joint. We will never even walk through your place and will tell everyone we can just what horrible service this place is. May you closed down and...
Read moreIt’s impossible to not compare this place to Round1. Especially with it being in the same location. There are no rhythm games here at all. Not even a DDR cabinet which was a big draw for Round1. They do have a decent amount of claw machines. And this place did have a few machines that I’ve actually never seen before and I ended up playing when I went. I did the 40 for 20 dollar deal for 200 credits on Monday evening. The employe wasn’t aware of this, but a manager was able to get me set up. I was impressed with the variety of coin/marble pusher games. Some are older machines that aren’t around much anymore which brings a unique experience. The prizes inside Over the Edge were interesting and I managed to win a small prize. You only get 5 balls per 12 credit swipe which is not a lot. I only experienced one pusher that wasn’t fully working. The biggest disappointment here was the prize room. It’s mostly cheap run of the mill arcade prizes. Round1 really stood out because of how high quality the prizes were. I was interested in the giant Pokemon plush, however you cannot win these with regular tickets. These can only be won by playing a carnival style water gun game. Which is frustrating because I have no interest in that and these were the only prizes I liked. Overall I did appreciate seeing games here that were new to me. However, none of the prizes are worth playing for so that will unfortunately prevent me from frequenting this place like I do...
