I ordered and paid for my sandwich online and choose a pickup time of 720pm. I got there right on time. I went to the register expecting to give my name and handed my sandwich. Instead the cashier handed me my receipt and the manager looked at me and said it would be just a sec. Two other people were waiting for their food, while 2 more people with 2 kids walked in and placed their order. After about 10 mins a woman finally received her order to go. Fifteen mins later the man that was there before me walked towards me and rolled his eyes. I understood his body language to be annoyed that it was taking a manager and 3 employees forever to make sandwiches. I looked at him and said I ordered mine online and it was supposed to be ready at 720pm. He told me he hated that place but his wife loved their food. This whole time waiting I couldn't help but notice the manager and a teenage girl employee gossiping. The customer that hated the place finally got his food but checked it before he left. As soon as he was out the door the manager and teenage girl were right into each other's face talking about him!! More food was placed on the counter in baskets that was for the people that came in after me and ordered their food. Finally after I had been waiting 18 mins, I walked down to where the teenage girl and a teenage boy was and asked if they knew when my sandwich would be ready. The young man asked what my order was and I told him and he said it would be ready in a minute. The manager had disappeared in the back and was now back out at the register. She heard me ask about my sandwich and looked at me and said not to yell at them. I told her I was not yelling at them, but that I found it a little ridiculous that I ordered online my sandwich online yet people that came in after me were already getting their food. She looked at me and said do not yell at them, we are shorthanded and there was a misunderstanding about my sandwich. I told her again I was not yelling at anyone, that I was talking loud enough so that they could hear me talk over the high counter. She still wanted to argue and so I told her I was going to make sure to take the survey and she said good, my name is Mickey the shift manager. I waited 22 minutes for a sandwich that was supposed to be ready when I arrived. 22 minutes!!! The management is the WHOLE problem. She did not once apologize for the wait or whatever the confusion was. Nor did they inform me that there was a confusion and that it would be a few more minutes. This location lacks management with good social, management, and customer service skills. I will not be back at this location. Wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered. I would have saved my time. Wonder how many other people were treated poorly my Mickey?? Save your time and eat...
Read morei’m a door dasher and when i went in to pick up someone’s order they said they don’t have it but after asking around, it turned out they already made it but gave it to someone else. They keep their doordash orders behind the counter (which is already bad because on doordash they’re listed as a restaurant where the orders are supposed to be on a shelf) so clearly an employee physically handed it off to the wrong person so after they told me that it seemed like no one wanted to help further or even pay me any attention. i was still standing there waiting for a response or anything really but they just didn’t pay me any attention because they didn’t want to deal with the problem they, THEMSELVES, created. so i asked if they could remake it because they gave it to the wrong person and i had my phone pulled up with the proof that I am picking up for this dash but they didn’t care so he raised his voice and said “unless another ticket order comes through, i'm not making a sandwich just for free”. But really sir what you already did was give a free sandwich away without making sure you had all the facts. And he continued to say that if i have a problem i need to contact support because he can’t help me. And support said they need to remake it but the manager still refused so doordash was forced to cancel the order so i only got half the pay and the customer never get her sandwich. This was completely UNACCEPTABLE and ever since then I always reject doordash orders for this specific fire house subs on outer loop because it’s very clear that none of the like 7 people working that day gave a care in the world that THEY MESSED UP. Terrible customer service. Even...
Read moreThe shift lead that was working the lunch rush on Monday August, 5th was atrocious. Upon arrival my husband and I were greeted by a polite female and a male who were both friendly with a big smile. The lady ringing up our order began to berate and raise her voice at the male worker in front of my husband and I, even as my husband was attempting to order. It was extremely unprofessional and absolutely rude. If there are any disputes among employees, it should be handled at an appropriate time, and in an appropriate place. During an order with a restaurant full of customers, is not the time. I walked up as the girl went into the back and asked how the two workers were doing and if the other female was their boss. They informed me she was their shift lead and they to discuss weather and change the subject. Very professional. This is not a healthy work environment. I think that the shift lead, I am not sure if her name is Bethany or not, should absolutely not work as a shift lead any longer. Part of leading a shift is also knowing how to handle yourself. I feel horrible for the coworkers that are subject to this type of disrespect and working conditions. I will absolutely never come in here again and will continue to inform all fellow people of how the experience was if this is not correctly addressed. After ten minutes of waiting on our order, she began again. I finally had to address the situation and tell her it was unprofessional and I to stop yelling at him in front of the guests. She then had him come in the back and continued to yell. The entire room was asking if we were on...
