The person that gave my food to the wrong person, his name was Josh. He was African-American and had gold teeth To be specific . Just so we know who is the blame . He was on his phone the whole time basically standing by the doorway, just looking And a couple times, he put his phone up on top of the counter so that he could make a drink here and there while I was waiting. When the girl had to walk up from the back, she asked him what happened and he just nonchalantly act like nothing was wrong never even told me sorry about that. Also, he reeked of marijuana . Either way After this happened, they told me that the manager to give me a refund Would have to wait 10 more minutes before she could come out of the back . After about 10 more minutes, they asked me if I wanted a free drink Which they gave me . Only for her to actually give me the refund without any food after I waited 30 min total. Easily the worst experience I’ve ever had a Panera bread in my life and I’m 34 . You got it Josh definitely needs to be fired because he does not care about the job at all or customer service . I would actually maybe fire the manager as well because she didn’t care either and was willing to let the customer wait for 10 minutes after already waiting for 20 . Read moreI have never been to this Panera location-- my reciew speaks to the delivery service offered by this location. We have ordered from fhe Outer Loop restaurant many times since covid-19 started--i cannot remember a single time when our order was not either missing something entirely (sometimes multiple items) or somwthing we recieved an item we didnt order instead of an item we did order.
Sometimes we asked for a refund when a main component of the meal was missing, and panera woud issue one for the item missing, but làst time my bofriend decided to not even bother as he was sick of doing so.
However, last time there was an additional complication. After the food was ordered we waited to hear a lnock at the door or doorbell ring while going about other activities-- it never came. 4 hours later it seemed odd, i dunno why we didnt check sooner but then we checked. Food was marked as delivered. We were confused and my boyfriend began to try to contact panera and we discovered the food had been sitting to the side of our front door for hours, however the deliery driver did not knock or attempt to contact us in anyway.
The food i always good, and i cannot speak to the dining experience at the location-- just our experience wth ordering delivery (directly through panera, not ubereats or another food delivery app) from this location. Read moreGreat experience at another Panera while traveling! I joined the Sip Club in April and it certainly has me looking for Panera's when I travel which is frequently. Absolutely love ordering on the app, loading gift cards, Etc. I think our local panera, not this location, has trouble with Staffing and their drive-thru has been frequently closed. Just wish that was reflected on the app when they ask how you want to pick it up. I almost always designate to pick it up and drive through, but if it's closed, I have to park and go inside to pick it up. Most of the time that's not a huge deal but it would be nice to know so I can build in the extra time if needed. This location had a very friendly and efficient drive-through staffer. My order was ready when I got to the window but I was about 4 to 5 cars back and it seemed a little slow to move to start with. Soup, baguette and yogurt were all excellent as usual. I completely appreciate the consistency in quality throughout this chain. When I can do a sit-down meal, I always try to find a local spot but, the Sip Club has me seeking...
