Meijer — Local services in Louisville

this is a disgrace you ought to be ashamed. a friend of mine posted this and it is quickly making its way around facebook. I went to Meijer’s just doing some holiday shopping after work, whenever I go I cannot resist getting the cookies from the bakery. Meijer’s is top notch in the baking department. But sadly on this day I couldn’t get those cookies. Instead on this day I received an unpleasant, un-festive show that was heart wrenching. A young girl working in the bakery was crying while a manager was throwing bread and cookies on the floor. He eventually walked off and seeing this girl cry… broke my heart so I went up and asked her what was going on. She told me she just clocked in for the day and the manager was having a fit. She was uneasy that he was throwing stuff around but she let it go. After a while it had become too hostile for her and he proceeded to tell her she was worthless and needed to do her job better. Keep in mind…. this is in front of the store. I felt so bad for this girl I asked her if there was anyone I could call for her. I cannot believe Meijer’s on Westport road in Louisville, KY would allow this disrespectful manager to still be employed there. I also cannot believe after two weeks of this happening he is still in the same department as this girl. As a consumer, I am terrified to eat anything from the bakery because now I wonder if they just put all this stuff back on the shelf. I have since talked to this girl again and the store director has not kept her word to move this girl to a different department, has not suspended the manager like promised. Please don’t let this...

You have a young white male pharmacy tech who really needs to major customer service training.. His name is Brian. Everytime he waits on me there is always a problem of something "I did". I called my prescription in Tuesday night. The IVR system asked when I wanted the prescription to be ready if the time did not work that was suggested. I pressed 3 according to the IVR if needed sooner. The IVR stated the script would be ready Wed March 20 after 12pm. Wednesday is my grocery day.He said I must have not selected it correctly and said it had to be ordered. I then told him no one called or there was no automated message on my phone stating there was a delay. Then he goes and looks and said o we have one bottle left and I will get it ready and it would be 20 minutes. No it will jot as I called it in and I was getting ready to check out. That is when the pharmacist said we will get it ready as soon as possible. Long story short went back got the script and left. Instead of Brian saying I am sorry let us get it ready he had attitude. He also was laughing when I walked away. You all need to address his customer service skills because you never know what a person is dealing with as to why they came to get a prescription This is not the first run in with Brian but it needs to...

I never used to have this problem but over the past few months each time I've went in, the checkout experiences were a bit awful. The first one i noticed the cashier made me take my hand basket back to the front of the store with two hands full of grocery bags. Im not beneath doing this but I was like how do I do this without dropping or crushing something 🤔 she was very rude to too me about it too because she saw i only had my bags and not the basket. Second time I went thru self checkout, got to the third item, which had a upc and was normal item, and the machine just said I needed assistance. They just do that sometimes but she blamed me! I had done nothing new or weird or different but she pulled my video up of me just simply scanning and said that's what i did wrong, I stil have no idea what she was talking about as I did what I always do which was nothing out of the ordinary. She wasn't nice about any of it. Also she did now want to help me to begin with as she was leaning on the drink machine on her phone. I told her sorry for being such an inconvenience as politely as I could and just left with my stuff. Im on lunch again at work and I just dont want to be treated badly so I'm not going to that...
