It was my first date with this handsome young man and after dinner another customer recommended this bar. We walked in, and there was about six people sitting at the bar and the entire place went silent. the place was a good size so my date and I played darts and had some drinks. After a little while, the bartender suggested last call so we decided to get one more drinks. we gradually finished them and closed our tab. Oddly, a few more people starting entering the bar and ordering several drinks. As we were leaving the crowd of people started yelling, mocking laughter tones and making animal sounds. I turned around and saw these people gesturing like a monkey and another "girl" flipping me off in the symbol of a cross. I was going to react but what a terrible first impression that would have left with my date and I was grossly out numbered. I never experienced this much hate and animosity towards complete strangers but in the South. We are an interracial couple. Please do not come to this bar unless you of the Aryan race or you will experience the same fate or worse. I have reported this incidence for it may turn political. Read moreHenry's is without a doubt the "diviest" dive bar in the county. Even moreso than Dillinger's. Mugs are super frosty, cheap pitchers, no food, but you can bring takeout. Popular place for the locals on the weekends with darts, pool, and good service. but theres definitely something off about this place.

I've been to plenty of seedy dive bars, but theres something about Henry's that makes me uniquely uneasy.
Henry's is an acquired taste, a timeless dive that has served generations of locals, while somehow remaining unchanged for decades. A perfect place to go for one last round and a game of pool to end the night. But its not for everyone, and if you spend enough time here, you'll know exactly...

The drinks are solid, the atmosphere is relaxed but lively, and there’s just something about it that makes you want to stay a little longer than planned.
A huge shoutout to Jeremy—he’s welcoming, kind, and makes you feel like you’ve been coming here for years, even if it’s your first time. He really sets the tone for what makes Henry’s special.
It’s rare to find a spot that feels both like a night out and like home, but Henry’s nails it. Can’t wait to come...
