Doesn't have the flash of a Vail FM or the size of big-city markets, but this one is a little gem, just like Louisville. Front street is an ideal venue: an easy walk/bike to the rest of town, with a covered music venue and just enough vendors. Can be busy but is not overly crowded. Plenty of vendors with fresh goodies. Bakery and prepared foods are present but not overwhelming. Ranch meats, coffee, dried fruit, CBD lotions, crafts, a little art, and even local booze.
Quiet enough to be small-town, big enough to be worth visiting all Summer. Park a bike and fill your basket wirh veggies and fresh flowers! Nice...
Read moreMost farmers markets have Windows and siding salesman a bunch of Honey shops and knick knacks and very few vegetables. Read moreLove this neighborhood farmer's market. It has what you need from a farmer's market - fresh vegetable, fruit, pork/beef and dairy from local farms. Decent variety of pastry and premade goods. Several non food stands as well.
Smaller than Highlands and City Park Farmers markets. If you're looking for a specific vendor or type of stand, check out the Louisville Farmers market website where they list the weekends when each vendor is there.
Everyone is so nice and welcoming. We love stopping by to stock up on veggies + fruits for the week....
