I just met the most genuine, kind, and up standing young man working in the front section of this store. Not only was he super friendly, he greeted the customers with such a happy attitude. I was in this store on Sunday August 15, 2021 between 5:30 - 6:00 pm. I sure wish I had asked him what his name was. He is a young white guy and he told me that working at Krispy Kreme was his first job. To the management of Krispy Kreme, you have one of the very best employees I have ever met anywhere. That young man is a true gem. His kindness and wonderful attitude brought me to tears. Speaking with him was a true honor and he surprised me with a gift of donuts. I hope my happy tears didn’t make him feel strange, it was such a gracious and kind gesture that it overwhelmed my heart. I wish the world was filled with such grace and genuine kindness as this young man is. Krispy Kreme management, your donuts are so yummy, but the young man you have working with your customers in the front of the store is super awesome!!! I can’t say enough about that young man. He is the very best!!! To his parents, you have raised one heck of a young man. He is a true superstar!!! And, to the young man who was so king and genuine, thank you for giving me the blessing of talking with you. It was a true honor and you made my day. I will definitely be back to see you. Thank you again for making our (my husband and I) day wonderful. You are a very special young man. I pray that God always blesses you with as much happiness, joy, and kindness that you bring to others. You are a very remarkable young man. Thank you for being you, thank you for your kindness, and thank you for the gift of donuts. It will be a true honor to see you again.

Read moreIt is unfortunate when companies take advantage, harass, and hire managers that implement the humiliation and exploitation of minors in the workplace. My son has had such the experience working for this company. The Bardstown Rd location is operated under managerial region #10; this office has failed in their due diligence (in my opinion) to properly screen, vet, and background check their managerial staff, as such there is a extremely high turn over. Additionally there are staff who are disrespectful to employees and fellow co workers on a daily basis. I contacted the store on behalf of my minor child, who was spoke to harshly and unfairly, then terminated after he asked to be spoke to with "a little respect. " The manager, Donyell, argued that she didn't have to respect a minor employee, and that he needed to only "do what she said." When I personally called the store to speak with Donyell about the incident, I also was berated and threatened by phone; then told in laughter that she "would not lose her job". I still took all proper actions to report this matter to corporate. I have not received a follow up phone call of letter, yet. The issue of the matter is that this location is poorly managed, insufficiently monitored, and has a history of poor workmanship, lack of ethical training, and inconclusive hiring protocol for managerial leadership. DO NOT allow your child, son or daughter, to seek employment with such a company. In my opinion, these corporations have a responsibility to protect the rights, fair treatment, and safety of all employees and staff. For the safety of your child, document, report, and report again unfair practices at...

Went in on a Sunday morning. There were several people in front of us when we entered. No big deal. One lady was running the doughnut bagging/boxing and one was running the cash register. We tried to order plain black coffee with our doughnuts. We were rudely told that she doesn't make drinks, the cashier does. Think about that statement. This was Sunday morning before church. It HAS to be one of their prime rush periods of the week. No one in front of us ordered drinks. Some lady in front of us was trying to use some coupon to no avail. Instead of opening another register to deal with the backlog the wait continued. The poor lady was there for a good 15 minutes before being sorted. All in all, with 3 other groups ahead of us, it took 25 minutes to GET to the register. Once there, we ordered our coffee. The cashier left her post to get 2 black coffees. The most simple of orders. That took over 5 minutes. Several people behind us just left. To top it off, the coffee was very strong because they just began to brew it and then poured it. Terribly, terribly ran.
We sat in the dining room for over an hour. Not one person came out to clean. ALL the tables were dirty, the floor was a mess. On top of that, their chairs had lost the rubber boots on the end of the legs. Every time someone would pull out or move a chair, it sounded like nails on a chalkboard. This happened 10-20 times while we sat there. It was so loud it interrupted conversation as there is nothing to dampen the sound.
Why the hell would I ever go back? All that AND it was over $10 for 3 glazed doughnuts and 2...
