If you want to enjoy Dairy Queen’s delicious food without having a frustrating experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this location after 5:00 PM. Although the store is technically still open, the staff behaves as if it were already closed. This is the second time I’ve encountered the exact same issue.
I went through the drive-thru and was told that they were only serving ice cream cones — the simplest item on the menu. I initially thought it might be a one-time situation, but I went back again recently, hoping to place a full order, and the same thing happened: cones only. At this point, it’s clear this is not a coincidence but rather a lack of willingness to work and serve customers properly.
It’s deeply disappointing to see such disregard for customer service. It feels like the staff simply doesn’t care whether customers leave satisfied or not. I hope this message doesn’t become just another complaint that gets ignored, because I’m certain many other customers have experienced the same frustration and inefficiency from this team.

She handed me my food and mini blizzard and I made the mistake of not double checking the bag before pulling away so I stopped to look in my bag and 2 things were missing which where my pretzels and extra ranch so I reversed. I let her know she forgot my pretzels and she said they ran out (okay cool, you were just gonna not tell me and let me leave) I asked her for a sub of fries and my extra ranch. Read moreWe usually have a good experience here, but when I went today 1/16/22 at about 12pm the woman working the drive through was extremely rude. As someone that works in the restaurant industry and has had to deal with tricky technology and rude customers, I would never speak to a customer the way she did. We tell her we want two chicken tender meals, with two different drinks — pause for about 10 seconds and try to say “and a side of pretzel sticks” and we’re met with “Hold on, hold on, HOLD ON” after we had stopped talking. Then she continues to say “y’all have to understand it takes TIME”— to which I tell her “you realize I work in a restaurant?”
