Today, August 30th, 2023. 8:15 am. I came here to get breakfast. I used the kiosk as I usually do. BUT, when I was finishing my order, a gentleman around 75 or 80 years old was waiting on the line to place an order with the cashier. After a few minutes this lady middle age African American (I'm describing her because I don't know her name and she didn't have a name tag) comes out and the gentleman courteously ask her if there is somebody taking orders. She said with a very loud voice "Yes Sr. It's me, but I just came out of the restroom. " The gentleman answered "ok I just wanted to make sure because I didn't see anybody." So this lady keeps talking to him with attitude and tells him, "Also, if you don't want to wait, you can always order from the kiosk." The gentleman said. "Ohh, I don't do that because I don't know how to use it and I prefer to pay to a person. " Then the lady yelled that my order was ready." While picking up my food, another old lady comes to the line, and the same cashier tells her to place the order on the kiosk. The lady didn't want to do that because of the same reason she said she was old and preferred to order and pay to a person. Two things here: I understand the frustration of the cashier because she seemed to be very busy, BUT I don't think that justifies treating people the way she did. Also, I wonder where the manager was because this event lasted for several minutes. I mean, all the people at the restaurant realized what happened, and the manager didn't? Maybe she was the manager? This is even worse because why you are going to have a manager who can't handle this type of situation better. In the end, the gentleman left upset and asked for her name to call the corporation. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but she gave it to him with the same bad attitude that she was treating him since he got to the restaurant. Even if he calls. I'm pretty sure she already spoiled the breakfast he was planning to have. At least she spoiled...
Read moreStopping in after 6 pm to a drive thru only open location at Poplar Level Rd near Hess Lane was rated 1 star because::: The fresh cooked to order Quarter Pounder meal had large fries and a large Coca-Cola. Bag in window and ready when I pulled straight to p/u window from speaker. So, the Quarter Pounder Cooked to order? Negative, don't think so unless it was known by a fortune teller on staff. It takes longer to put the patty on the grill in the time I ordered and that bag was ready at the window. The large fries weren't large, they lacked the proper lined up and full past the container look. They were the dreaded limp and cold hung over the vat tasting type, and my cold drink? The large Coca-Cola? Flat, no carbonation. Not even with a hint of consumable contemplation given... (and I was HUNGRY)... not one contemplative millisecond of thought to eating. MY ENTIRE MEAL was GARBAGE. I was in between deliveries, no time to take back to the restaurant. I just disposed of my paid for, not able to eat although starving JUNK and returned to my duties of delivering less $9 of my hard earned $$$, very disgruntled and very hungry. Did I mention, I believe the shift manager was the drive thru window attendee who handed me the previously cooked, "cooked to order" quarter pounder (it also had ONLY ONE SLICE of the designated TWO PIECES of CHEESE), those large fries (cold, hanging over the grease vat until dumped out, salted, then bagged less 1/3 of what should be 1/3 more) limp, grease soggy fries, and flat Coca -Cola (the BEST! AWESOME!) this shift manager was the lead of the team responsible for this order of: Don't come back and have your hunger stay with you ALL DAY STAY HUNGRY and must be the worst quarter pounder meal served out of a McDonald's D/T window to millions and...
Read moreTypical Mickey Ds....but this one hasnt my gone over to the dark side yet and added the god awful double drive thru. I hate those as they NEVER seem to know what your order was when you arrive at the pick up window. You always have to repeat order which kind of defeated the first stop at the speaker. Hope this one stays a single drive through forever Edit since my initial review this McDonalds not only went over to the dark side and added the god forsaken double drive through, they shut it down for several weeks and completely gutted the place via an extensive remodel. What a waste of Mcdollars. Why you ask? Because now this Micky D's is completely unusable. Not once, not twice, but three times I've "ATTEMPTED" to use the drive through from hell. I'm 0-3 as the first time I got to the ordering speaker and placed my order and sat in a line that did not move 1 inch from 1:32 to 1:40 pm. It finally moved up one car space and the clock began ticking away. At 1:45 I realized how stupid it was to sit in a line moving that slowly and pulled out and went to Wendy's down the street (took just over 3 minutes from order to pull away. ) The next 2 trips were at 6:30am on a week day and 10am on a saturday......the line never moved enough for me to get to an ordering speaker before I pulled out of line after a lengthy wait. Sadly McDs dumped tens of thousands of dollar in a restaurant that is now incapable of performing the most basic aspect of fast food......the fast part. I wish them luck but I've dropped my...
