When I placed my order (and it was a large order) I kept asking did you get 2 Carmel latte, she the worker just kept saying yes, yes. When I got to the pay window I asked again did you get 2 Carmel lattes and she kept saying yes and gave me back my receipt and credit card. When I got ti the pick up window I gave my receipt to a different female worker (both were Hispanic) and told her I needed 2 Carmel lattes. I kept repeating "2 Carmel lattes" because I also had 1 vanilla latte on my order. A guy walked up and said something to her and she handed me my receipt 1 Carmel latte with my other drinks and food and told me to drive to the 3rd window. So as I wait in expecting my Carmel latte to appear that I still needed to pay for, but I got an empty handed manager named Serena wanting to know what I needed. I handed her my receipt and told her that I had asked everyone for 2 Carmel lattes and I just wanted the Carmel latte. She said I hadn't paid for it, I responded I know that's why I gave you and everyone else my receipt so they could see that 2 Carmel lattes were not on it. She told me that because there was a 1 vanilla latte and 1 Carmel latte that I was not clear on what I wanted and that I should have said I wanted to ADD a Carmel latte.....I told her I didn't know how much more plain I could be by asking for 2 Carmel lattes and again she said that I didn't ask for it correctly....I am so ticked off.....I work at a school that is 77 percent non English and everyday I communicate with non English people and I personally do not speak t h e Spanish language. How dare this manager tell a customer that I didn't make myself clear when I had already spoken with 2 workers......seems like MORE training may be needed for workers that have a language barrier because I live in the USA and speak the home language that is in English. I didn't do anything wrong!!! Seems like I worked harder at trying to get my order right than any of your workers including your Manager Serena. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS MCDONALD'S AGAIN, I WILL NEVER LET SOMEONE TREAT ME THIS WAY BECAUSE I SPEAK ENGLISH. MCDONALD'S SHOULD BE ASHAMED...
Read moreFirst, blaming things on the staff because of their accents and place of origin is never cool. Those bringing that to the complaints has issues. We are supposed to be understanding to each other no matter where we are from. So knock it off and just state your feedback.
As for me, I had to take my time and be real about this McDonald's location and honestly after spending money here repeatedly and the app constant problems... I have to say this location is not worth the gas money anymore.
It's clear the upper person not used to taking accountability for their restaurant mistakes and how they treat its customers. The verdict is stay away from this location and be stress free.
The service was good and the staff wonderful. But.... when there is a mistake it's next to impossible to get your issues solved and my issue was a super small order. An easy fix but never solved.
I solely blame the compliance office and the local person in charge not the staff. And I suspect that person feel so secure in their position they simply don't care.
So if you vist this McDonald's which is a"new" restaurant, please think better of it. I suggest you go to the Chick-fil-a across the street. It's not expensive.
Better food, better service, and quick to solve any issues. Any issues....
Again the staff at this location is good but you can't trust your issues will be solved if it comes up. You are out of luck and have to solve it yourself.
If you must visit a McDonald's then visit the other location down Bardstown road. You will be glad. The service is excellent and the food is good. You will feel they care. Best of luck to...
Read moreYou would think as a new McDonald’s the service and food would be awesome. If I could give service 0 stars I would. I never take the time to write reviews but you deserve my time today! No one says welcome, hi, thank you or your welcome. No one reads order back or tells you total. Order is always WRONG with missing items or missing additives that I pay for such as extra cheese. Teenagers at the window that you can’t hear and could care less - or employees that can’t speak English. I have nothing against a language barrier but considering that speaking the order and taking the order requires verbal communication then it is a disservice to your business and the clients to put employees with an English barrier at the window! After I spent over $60 she forgot half the order I went back to get the happy meal and got a major attitude from the person at the front desk. I left home and still there were items missing! Never put sauce or ketchup. Ask stupid questions like do you want a drink carrier when I am ordering 6-8 drinks. Worst McDonald’s in all of Louisville and the others aren’t so great either. Prices similar to chic fila so why would I dine with you when I can get much better service food and all my items right across the street !! I don’t have time to wait to stand back in line and when I do be met with...
