Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Louisville

Went with some friends yesterday 7/14 about 10 minutes before they closed. Now granted I work in customer service. I’m a server and i understand how annoying it can be sometimes when somebody comes in so close to closing time. But the service was horrible. Never in my life have me or my friends been treated with such disrespect! Went in they rolled their eyes etc. As I started to order there was this blond girl with a braid that asked me what I wanted to eat and then walked away and didn’t even make my food. From there it was us being completely ignored and our food thrown around. I had to reach over the counter and get my bag of food cause they wouldn’t give it to me after packaging it up. As I went to pay the blond girl who again I must say was the worst person I have ever met in customer service got mad at ME because their system wasn't working. Slammed my card down and said “just forget about it” and walked away. It took another 5 minutes for another worker who was sitting there laughing the whole time to fix the card machine and finally run my card. Food was great seriously but the staff not at all, and I want to emphasize the blond tall girl with the braid especially. Even after all of this me and my friends were still treating them with respect the way they should have done to us. I love the food at Moe's, but unfortunately I won't be back to this location (Cedar Springs Rd.) anytime soon. There was one employee who acted professional out of the four working. I couldn't tell if they were mad that we came in at 8 when they close at 9 or what. Service was too slow for how few people were there. The drink and utensil area were in disarray and not properly stocked. I didn't even bother to ask for forks because I didn't want to deal with the workers' attitudes/lack of professionalism. There were no clean tables in the entire restaurant, but all of them except for two were empty. They need to pay some more attention to the cleanliness of the dining area. When taking our trays to the garbage I was completely disgusted. The openings on the garbage are smaller in circumference than the plastic dishes they put the food in. What a stupid design! There was food all over the top of the garbage can and it was so gross. I felt like I needed a shower...

I would give them a Zero star if I could don’t leave bad reviews often ... called the store to place a pick up order , made us go online and walked us through it awesome! Went to pick up the order they then told us it was delivers via grub hub. Have order id , items and location on my confirmed email . We call them back as it’s an hour later they inform us store is being ran with no manager and shift leader doesn’t know English. I’m a manager at fast food , how is a STORE ran without a manager . Moes was by far one of my most fav restaurants to eat at but will no longer pay another pennie to the company. Wouldn’t even give us a cup of queso for the inconvenience of waiting over an hour after the ready time and also making 2 15 minute trips.... so good for making the customer happy .
