I ordered a green passion smoothie, a whole Strawberry Poppyseed salad with Chicken, a Chocolate croissant, and a cherry cheese Britney. While bringing me my food, the employee dropped my green smoothie, no worries - accidents happen. While I’m waiting, I notice I have a chocolate chip cookie and not a chocolate croissant. I go inside to the cafe to inquire - they state they are out of chocolate croissants hence why chocolate chip cookie. They bring me my remade beverage and I leave. When I get home, I bite into my cherry cheese Brittany only to find it’s a plain muffin with cherries on top and nothing in the middle. Not a thing in the middle. I took pictures. I open my whole salad, there is no dressing. No dressing in the bag nor in the salad. It’s now 9:46pm. The cafe closes at 10p. I have to speed across town to get my dressing in time before they close. I am upset that I wasn’t refunded the money for my desserts, refunded my entire money for my food, or at least given a gift card for a future visit even if my food wasn’t comped for that visit. No one employees should just decide they will give me what they want me to have because they are out of what I ordered. I pre-paid for my order on the app AND left a tip BEFORE I knew I was going to have such terrible service and a time consuming hassle! I am very displeased and disappointed with this experience. I spent over $20 one a single order and only got one thing that I asked for. I had a hassle getting the rest of my items. I have never ever had such a bad experience. I want the food that I ordered and not what someone decides must be fine for me to spend my money on without asking me if they could substitute ANY item(s) for my desserts. I did not get either of the desserts I wanted and paid for. And, to leave the dressing off my salad? What is a salad without dressing?! It’s NOT a salad. I was most inconvenienced. No one seemed to care. I expect quality AND great custom service from Panera. I...
Read moreI came through the drive through to order breakfast for a team meeting. I had a lot of questions because it was a big order. I ordered the bagel box and asked for the bagels to be sliced. I specifically asked if they come in a box so that they’d be presentable for the team I was presenting to. The girl on the intercom was nice and I told her I’d be back in 30 minutes to place the order.
When I placed the order, I was given the bagels thrown into a bag, cold, despite me asking for them to be toasted. So I went back into the restaurant and patiently waited to speak with someone.
The manager, Ryan, came up to me and said that I should’ve placed a catering order if I wanted a box because they don’t have boxes. He said there was nothing they could do even though I offered to pay to make it right and pay for a catering box. He said all he could do was offer me plates for my clients. I wasn’t rude, I wasn’t angry with them, I simply was looking for solutions and he gave me zero
Fortunately, his employee FOXIE Was nearby and said I did not have to pay for a box. She would get me one and it was exactly what I was looking for. Ryan told her to hand me gloves so that I could put the bagels in a box. Foxie came around to the other side of the counter and put gloves on, and we put every single bagel in the box in a presentable way. She also got me better bags and utensils and made sure I had the right cream cheeses. Because of Foxie, I will be back in the future to place catering orders for my team. If I had only experienced Ryan, I would’ve given this a 1...
Read moreI love Panera Bread and their offerings! Their lines were always long at peak hours, especially lunchtime, but that attests to their popularity and people's desire for good, flavorful food in many varieties.
I have always liked their half and half choices: half a soup serving (I always love a soup bread bowl!), half a salad, and half a sandwich; any two of these three.
Beef with Asiago cheese and arugula? Or chicken with a cranberry concoction? Want nuts in your salad? You can order many things as they are or dressed to order. They have a display of baked yummies for 99¢ per to go along with your meal, or you can carry any and all things out. You can choose loaves of many breads, and many items are available already in a box to purchase, stacked up on small tables near the line.
You can order online for pickup or even sit at a table and order from your phone from there. They also have stand - up touch screens to order for your table. These are a bit complicated, and they are still improving them, so any difficulty you have with them, don't be afraid to ask a server for help. And if you find a difficulty, please tell the manager. He is a super sweet man with a good attitude and desire to help and take feedback. And be sure to tell everyone what they are...
