We were a group of three adults and two young children, looking forward to a pleasant dining experience. However, several incidents left us disappointed.
Our first interaction was with the host, Sarah. When she came to take our drink orders, I requested a Diet Pepsi and two lemonades for the kids. Sarah's reaction was far from welcoming. She commented, "Is that it? You're not ordering anything else?" I explained that we don't consume soft drinks, and she walked away. I found this initial encounter rather rude but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt.
Later, when Sarah returned to take our food orders, I ordered three Ultimate Shrimp Platters. I tried to be pleasant, asking for her recommendations on the best flavors. However, I was taken aback when she told me we couldn't share the plates. I mentioned that we were three adults and might share some with the kids. Unsurprisingly, she insisted, "You can't share with your kids." Feeling uncomfortable, I called her back as she was leaving and expressed my dissatisfaction with her behavior. I even told her that I wanted to leave the restaurant.
Subsequently, the manager, I think her name was Jennifer, came over to inquire about the situation. After explaining the circumstances, Jennifer assured us that it was perfectly acceptable to share with young children and offered to have another host serve us. Although Jennifer's intervention was appreciated, the initial negative experience had already soured our visit. I requested to settle the bill for the drinks and leave, which Jennifer allowed without charging us for the beverages.
I am writing this review because, even a day later, I cannot forget the disrespectful behavior of the host. I believe it is crucial to provide feedback about such experiences to encourage better...
Read moreMe and my wife recently visited this Red Lobster and it was one of the most remarkable dining experiences ever. This is the first time I've ever given a review on Google. From the moment we arrived, the hostess was delightful, and our server, Julie was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. We had the Lobster Dip and of course, those biscuits! My wife had a Bahama Mama, while I indulged with a Lobsterita on the rocks which were wonderful. The Lobster dip came out hot and with what I assumed were fresh made tortilla chips. I ordered my usual, the Ultimate feast and my wife tried something new as recommended by our server, the Crab Boil. The salads came out after the appetizers and then our food. Everything was prompt, but didn't feel rushed, we had time to eat our appetizers and salads. The entrées were absolutely amazing. The best crab legs we've ever eaten and my maine lobster tail was so tender and delicious, I could probably eat 10 of them. We had thought any dessert when we first arrived, but we were so full we could pop. Near halfway through our meal, the assistant general manager, Shelly came by our table and spoke to us to assure we were satisfied with everything. We told her that "satisfied" was an understatement. She was genuine thrilled and just made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. The entire experience was about as perfect as it could be unless the company decided to make the maine lobster tails bigger. We left our server a generous tip and she invited us back and told us we could request her in the future, which we surely will. This was a standard that all restaurants should strive to achieve! We thank you so much for making our nigtt out so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's been a few weeks because life got crazy but I wanted to leave a shout-out for this location. My fiance and I were dinning there with our service dog. They let us pick were we sat (we chose a spot in the corner to be out of the way) another large table was seated nearby, I needed to leave the table to go to the restroom for both myself and my service dog, who naturally went with me and we walked past there table. Apparently this upset them because when I came back they were being moved to another location and one of them was complaining loudly about why they had to move and now us since we had a dog. Unfortunately I am used to the general public not really understanding how service dogs or public access works so this wasn't new, and I prepared myself for a confrontation. To my surprise both our server and the in staff manager came to speak to us about the incident and to apologize if it made us uncomfortable. They also in no uncertain terms told the other gust that service dogs are allowed public access and they would NOT be asking us to move and would definitely NOT be asking us to leave. I really appreciate how well the staff here advocated for my public access rights and made sure I was as comfortable as I could be. The food of course was good as always too but what really set this place apart is the great interaction...
