It's awesome that this location has opened up for dine in, but the atmosphere/service lacked a bit. It was super stuffy in there to the point where we were relieved to go outside into 78 degree weather because it felt cooler than inside the dining area. It also seems... dark inside. There are windows, but it just doesn't feel open/light.
I do wish all of the Jaggers locations would allow for customers to get their own condiments. We received one ketchup packet per meal and it just creates unnecessary need to retrieve more if you need it. This location also doesn't have a self service soda fountain (unlike the newer location on Westport Rd) and it doesn't seem like they have many options for soda flavors anymore? They used to have cherry coke, I believe, which is still available at the Westport Rd location. This is just me going off what the customer is able to view from the ordering area. The service felt a bit cold/unwelcoming overall. I'm hopeful this was a one-off thing, but their rewards system was down when we ordered so I couldn't scan my app and I had to type in my receipt code manually when we retrieved our food. Seems dumb to mention, but it was just another weird addition to the weird vibe in this place. We were also served our dine-in meals in to go containers that were inside a bag, which is unlike the other Jaggers location as well. Maybe this one will convert over to baskets eventually.
The place was very clean and we did get our order fast/accurately. The California grilled chicken sandwich was great! The avocado was creamy and smooth and I really enjoyed the garlic mayo. I actually enjoyed the garlic mayo quite a bit more than the Jaggers sauce... so I may substitute that onto a sandwich in place of the Jaggers sauce in the future. My take on the Jaggers sauce is that it's spicy without any real flavor other than pepper, so I find that a bit off-putting personally. The crispy chicken deluxe was good, but very messy. All of it was seasoned well! We really enjoyed the shoe string fries. So most of the stars in my review came from the accurate, tasty order we received.
The bathrooms were funny, which is why I took a picture. They were also pretty clean, which is very much appreciated. Thanks for keeping it really...
Read moreIf you like eating hamburgers that drip grease all over you while in your car in the parking lot this place is for you.
When you first pull up you will notice that they have closed the inside of the restaurant and refuse to allow anyone to eat inside. They're still using COVID as the excuse for this but in reality it's because the staff don't want to serve anybody inside.
I ordered a hamburger and mac and cheese. The hamburger dripped grease all over everything it came near and was almost entirely flavorless. They didn't season it at all. If I'm going to pay for hamburger I'd like some taste with it so next time I'll go somewhere else.
The mac and cheese had gritty cheese all over the macaroni that was closer to beer cheese that you'd find in a bar than an actual custom-made mac and cheese product. I couldn't take the gritty taste of it and didn't eat any of it.
I also ordered a chocolate shake. The chocolate shake had a metallic taste to it like there were shavings from a blender or something like that in it. It did not taste like any other chocolate shake I've ever eaten and I threw it out.
Overall you do better going to McDonald's across the street then eating anything out of this place. That would explain why their line was full and the line...
Read moreNEW UPDATE: One too many order screw ups for me. Thought they had fixed issues. New Drive-thru... GREAT! But they cannot get orders right. Multiple wrong items in bag on 3 straight trips. That makes about 10 total screw ups in a short period of time. By the way, noticed every item now seems to have an extreme pepper taste and burgers looking more and more smashed flat with each visit. What is up with that? Place is turning into Burger King. 😝 Sorry to say, I am done with Jaggers.
Food is okay, gave me the wrong order a couple of times, that was not a big deal. I stop here on a weekly basis... BUT THE DRIVE-THRU IS TERRIBLE. Cars line up in one lane while other cars zoom around to the side to bypass people who have been waiting - AND THE ATTENDANT JUMPS OVER AND WAITS ON THEM BEFORE CARS THAT HAVE BEEN IN LINE LONGER! That is infuriating and dangerous. Either put 2 or more attendants out there or close down one side. Or train your employees NOT to step over to take orders from these line jumpers. I watched 2 guys almost start fighting as one truck jumped in front of a smaller car almost hitting a couple who were walking to their cars. I will be following this up with an email about this dangerous and ridiculous situation. I may or...
