Starbucks is, if nothing else, consistent. No matter where you go, the coffee or food is pretty consistent. (Of course, NONE of their food is made on premise, so they basically warm it and serve it). There's a lot of wiggle room when it comes to hand crafted coffee beverages, but after over 40 check-ins at this location I've never had a problem and my beverage has always been exactly what I asked for.
The staff here has always been really friendly and helpful. I like that they'll engage you in conversation at the window if your order isn't immediately ready. I go there 2 or 3 times a week, so I'm kind of familiar with a couple of the team, and being familiar makes the experience more enjoyable.
This location isn't accessible right off of Taylorsville Rd, but you have to pull off of the road and into the parking lot, or basically a service drive, to get there, and the kinda wind around a bit. That's not a bad thing, though, because it keeps the spill-over traffic off of the main road.
I've never been inside this location, because I usually swoop through the drive-thru because it's morning and Jim isn't going to get up any earlier than Jim has to. As a result the window to get my coffee is usually pretty tight.
Which brings me to the only real complaint I have about this location. Sometimes the wait to order (let alone get your order) can be amazingly too long. I get that I'm going during the morning rush, but there have been times when I've been only 2 or 3 cars back from the order speaker and it ends up taking 20 minutes or more.
One of these days Jim will get up early enough to go inside (you know, after The Covid Nightmare is over) and sit down and relax. The staff here just makes the place...
Read moreI have to say this was the dullest Starbucks I have ever walked into. I walked up to the counter ready to order and literally made eye contact with all of the Associates working there. I stood there waited about 3min and made eye contact again with another and then waited 2min. What gets me upset is 3 of the Associates weren't even doing anything who could've taken my order. Finally a guy who was working the drive after making eye contact with me a 3rd time came over and helped me. He didn't seem to thrilled to help me either, even though I said hello and asked how he was doing. I ordered my wife's drink and mine and left to use the worst looking bathroom I have ever seem in a Starbucks with papertoweles everywhere and toilet paper in the corner. I came out and I remembered I needed to get a pound of coffee and I grabbed the bag and went to the counter. Yet again making contact with the world's worst Starbucks crew and everyone looked at me like I was nobody. The guy at the drive made eye contact with me 2 times before he ultimately felt he had to come over. They ground up my coffee and I felt like the beans were old and muggie as the Yukon Blend coffee is very bold and robust smelling and asked if I could get a different bag to which I was ignored. I ended up leaving very disatisified. I would say without a doubt when visiting to Louisville, KY. I will avoid this exit off the highway for coffee and stir clear. I have my receipt and will be leaving this same review hopefully hearing back and get a replacement bag of...
Read moreIf you go to this location in the morning, the staff is friendly and on-top of the orders. However, if you go in the late afternoon or at night be prepared for horrible service. I went today and was the only customer at the counter, and there were about five teenagers socializing and laughing behind the counter. No one ever greeted me, until the manager finally came and took my order. Then, the one who made my drink continued to laugh and talk to another one of her friends as she made it, then frowned at me and pushed the drink across the counter. I was ticked, but was on my way to work so I didn't have time to complain. Another time in late afternoon, another group of teens were working and acting the same way. They got my drink wrong, and when I told them, they acted as if they were put out to remake it. I've almost had it with the unprofessionalism at this store. Something needs to be done to correct this. I had jobs when I was a teen and in college and I was never permitted to act this way, and neither...
