I love Taco Bell. It's always reliable (if a bit messy at times), inexpensive, and fast. It's my favorite fast food (I worked at Taco Bell for about 7 years back in the '80s and '90s), so I'm quite familiar with the menu. I like, also, that Taco Bell routinely comes out with new items (Especially the absolutely brilliant Doritos® Locos Tacos). As a chain, Taco Bell is always my first choice for fast food.
This location, however, (and based on my half dozen or so visits) has got to be one of the most mismanaged locations in town. I've never had a visit here that has been A+. Or A-. At best this location gets a C, and that's rounding up generously.
On one visit the credit card machine was down (and apparently they have no backup plan for credit card purchases.)
On another visit the drive thru was down. THE FRIKKIN' DRIVE THRU WAS DOWN. However, I was only made aware of this when I reached the speaker to have the person tell me that it was down ON THE SPEAKER. (YOU try to figure that one out).
On yet a different occasion the speed of service was so slow....(How slow was it?)...that I actually saw a car that had ordered at the drive thru speaker back up after they were almost to the window and leave the drive-thru line.
On another visit 3 of the 5 food items we ordered were incorrect, but trying to get someone's attention to get it fixed was a monumental task because all eyes were on the drive thru.
I think it all comes down to staffing (or a lack thereof) and a bit of training. I've love to see this location improve, as we're there a couple times a month. In the meantime there are plenty of other fast food options...
Read moreI rarely give low ratings but I feel like this deserved one. I went to this taco bell on three separate trips. Usually after work for a quick bite and each time I had a strange experience. My first and second time going, I had ordered the crunch wrap that was advertised on TV. I had seen that they had it as a combo with two tacos and a wrap with a drink. They had also had sold the crunch wrap separate. I had ordered the wrap separate both times and they had given me the combo. The third time I had went and ordered the nachos supreme and instead received a burrito supreme. I grew annoyed and didnt feel like arguing besides the fact that I had lost my appetite after witnessing the cashier with a lot of "bats" in and around her nostrils. So, I just decided to not go back to this particular taco bell and save myself the...
Read moreHonestly, 7/10 times this place is fine. 2/10 it's great, but the experience I had tonight was by far the worst experience I've had in ANY restaurant, not just a Taco Bell. I placed a mobile order on the TB app around 5:00 PM EST to be picked up through the Drive-Thru at 8:30 PM. When the time comes, I roll up to the TB Drive-Thru and give my name and am immediately asked to come inside. So, I roll around the Drive-Thru, park and go inside only to be told my order was "mistakenly put as carry-out" and then asked to wait. I wait for 30 minutes, and then the manager asks if I've been helped. Apparently they had already made my order, but given it to someone in the Drive-Thru. They had to re-make my order, all the while my Lyft is ticking away at the meter. I'm offered unsincere apologies for my wait and that's it. I'm...
