THEY STOLE MY STUFF!
I dined here while in town, and accidentally left my AirPods on the table. I called back the next day, and a server confirmed they had them in the lost and found, then transferred me to a person who said they were a manager. That person said they would speak with the owner about getting them shipped to me (I’m not local) then they would call me back. A little more than a week went by with no call back.
Then today, I call them and speak to a different person who says they are the manager, who says they can’t find my AirPods.
I said, “When I called last week I was told by two people that my AirPods were there and I was just waiting on a return call about getting them sent to me. I told them I will pay for shipping and compensate that person for their time.”
The manager said, “Well, I’m looking now, and they aren’t here anymore, so unfortunately there’s nothing we can do.”
Honestly stunned, I asked, “So, someone who works there stole them?”
Manager responds with a long pause, then said, “Well, they aren’t here anymore, so there’s nothing we can do.”
I attempted to clarify, “So, one of your employees stole them, and you aren’t going to do anything about it.”
The manager says, “No, unfortunately, we are not.”
So, a mediocre breakfast cost me a $200 set of AirPods that one of the employees stole, and the restaurant will not do anything to help make this right or replace them. Not exactly an...
Read moreI love First Watch, usually. So much so that I took my visiting out-of-town family here for brunch. The food was outstanding, as always. Service today, though, fell very flat.
After our drinks were delivered and our food order was taken, our waiter did not check on us, leaving us with empty glasses and a want for refills (including one alcoholic beverage and another person who was going to order an initial one as well). Most of our food was brought out by a food runner, minus my dish, a club sandwich, and soup.... which was delivered over 5 minutes later (yes, I checked). When asked for a box to take half of my sandwich home, our waiter once again did not deliver, and we had to ask another person, who promptly got it for us. The location was not overly busy, and I could see our waiter standing by the kitchen many times throughout our dining when he should have been waiting on tables.
All in all, it was not an awful experience. I hope that this waiter is just new and it will not be the same customer service on our next visit to the...
Read moreWent to this First Watch for the first time a few days ago. The atmosphere was nice. It's a nice but compact restraunt for brunch. I ordered the B.E.C. which was good. My boyfriend ordered the SoCal Breakfast Hash. Both items were new to us yet delicious. The B.E.C. was a little spicy (in a personally unpleasant way) due to the Calabrian chili aioli (it was a little too vinegary for me). I scraped it off and the rest of the sandwhich was delicious. I loved the bread, it had a perfect crunch with the fluffy and cheesy egg. The greens gave it a nice crisp freshness aswell. I also ordered the million dollar potatoes. They are a staple for me going to first watch. The alfredo-y sauce mixed the sweet-glazed bacon give the potatoes exactly what they need to be good. I didn't try the hash, so I cannot go into detail on it, but he said it was good, so take that as you will. The service was different then what we've had before at other locations, but it wasn't the worst we've ever had at all. Overall,...
