I'm giving this review in hopes that someone in management actually reads them and makes some changes. This is 5 minutes from me, and I love popeyes, so hopefully, they get it together soon. It is still new, so fingers crossed.
First, I think the managers from either the Bardstown and gene Snyder store or the Shelbyville rd store needs to train this new crew. I've been 3 times since they opened. Every single time the chicken has been a little under cooked. I've never seen that anywhere else. The biscuits were slightly undercooked as well, again never seen that before. Also, someone is wayyyyyy to heavy handed with the sauce for the wings. 3 people agree. They are drowning them and making them soggy. Usually it's a good squirt and they just shake the box. Someone is also too heavy handed with the mango in the frozen lemonade every single time, they're pouring too much. Also, the App isn't working. They'll scan your app but I haven't received points one time and I collect points so that's disappointing. You also can't place a mobile order on the app. It says closed. At first, this store wasn't showing at all so I guess they're working on it The lines are long too, but I assume that's because they're still learning. Read moreI understand this place is on the newer side. But I’ve order from here twice now. Each time having weeks between each other. Each time disappointing. I’ve worked in food. It shouldn’t take this long to fix problems. First time went through the drive though with an online order and waited 20+ mins in line just for chicken to be cold. Second time, another online order, but went inside for pickup hoping to beat the drive thru wait. Told my name and order number within the first 30 seconds of stepping inside. Waited 15+ mins and had 5 other people served before me even with their names behind me on the order board. My name disappeared from order board but still no food. Finally guy reasked me my name and said “I can’t find your order” then stepped over to a bag that was sitting there the WHOLE time and said “oh here it is.” When told “the food will probably be cold now” he responded “no I promise it’s not, only made five minutes ago” … not possible but didn’t want to argue. Got in car and checked. It was cold. Just gonna heat it up in oven I guess.

Dined in today. Ordering kiosk was malfunctioning. It wouldn’t let us add a side order of sauce to my boneless wings. We eventually figured it out and ordered without any sauce and just told the person working the counter what was going on. After ordering we sat down. Waited 20 minutes. Husband got up and stood at the counter, person working there asked what he needed. He responded we were waiting on our dine in order. Due to a language barrier he didn’t understand and had to get a fellow worker to come resolve the issue. They then began to bag our food and from what we can tell it had been ready for a while, and was just sitting there.
Upon opening our order, my husband’s chicken sandwich was cold and the cheese wasn’t melted. Mac and cheese was cold. Mashed potatoes had good flavor but were room temp at best. My boneless wings came incorrectly as bone in. I ate them anyways as at this point it had been over 25 minutes since we ordered and didn’t feel it worth my time to get it corrected.
