We always loved shopping at Aldi, but the employees don't love honoring the company policy of the double guarantee. Employees seem to not be knowledgeable of how it works if you're not satisfied with an item, and sometimes will shame you if they feel you used too much of it before returning it. We spend thousands of dollars a year with Aldi wouldn't take advantage of them over a $2 box of cheese crackers. But they'd beg to differ. Great prices as always, terrible management. If you're not satisfied it's supposed to be money back, and item replacement for free. The item can be the equivalency or the same. Most of the time they'll botch it with just an exchange, or just the money back. Not both. An employee who's familiar with the double guarantee will inform you of what it is exactly. Manager says since I am late, order has been canceled and I can't get my groceries. I thought this was weird since I wasn't that late. I call corporate & they confirm I have until end of business. Store still will not give me groceries but says order was cancelled. Nope! Receipt received! They stole my food & kept my $300!! I'm fighting to get that money back so I can feed my family!
