Taco Landia a brand new Spanish restaurant that has quickly become my latest culinary obsession. Open for just under 30 days, this hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic flavors and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
As you step inside, you are greeted by a cozy yet vibrant interior that captures the essence of Spain. The rustic wooden beams, colorful tiles, and soft lighting create an intimate setting perfect for a romantic dinner or a fun night out with friends. Spanish music plays softly in the background, enhancing the overall experience without being overwhelming. The decor is a delightful mix of traditional and contemporary, making it an Instagram-worthy spot for photos.
The service at Taco Landia very is exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations based on our preferences. Despite being a new establishment, the team worked seamlessly, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.
Final Thoughts: ★★★★★
La Sazón Escondida is a fantastic addition to the local dining scene, and I have no doubt that it will become a favorite among food lovers in no time. With its exquisite food, inviting atmosphere, and outstanding service, this hidden gem deserves to be celebrated. Whether you're a Spanish cuisine aficionado or just looking to try something new, make sure to stop by before this place becomes the next hot spot—because once word gets out, it will be hard to...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. I was hoping for some flavorful Mexican food, but the seasoning was almost nonexistent. The cilantro and onions were served on the side in very small portions, and the tortillas tasted off—maybe they were past their prime or had some strange food coloring. They even had a slightly sour taste, which was a big letdown.
On the pricing side, it’s definitely on the expensive end, but honestly, I don’t mind paying more if the food and service justify it. Sadly, that wasn’t the case here.
The one positive thing I can say is that the place was very clean, and the horchata was great. But, when it comes to service, it was a huge miss. The staff was incredibly rude. They wouldn’t respond to questions right away and would either stare or smirk at you. You often had to ask multiple times to get an answer, which was frustrating.
I noticed they have a robot for orders, which is a cool touch, but staff needs to add the salsas to it, to the robot to actually work... The place was practically empty, which I’m not surprised about given the poor customer service. I checked Google reviews afterward, and noticed they were dismissing negative feedback by claiming it’s just "competition being jealous." Honestly, it feels so high school and disrespectful to respond that way. It's not competition; it’s just...
Read moreOur group of 10+ had the pleasure of visiting Tacolandia during late last night, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Even before their official Grand Opening launch, the customer service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure we had a great experience. I can’t remember the employee working the register last night, but she was a delight to talk to.
The food was nothing short of spectacular. The quesabirria tacos were rich, flavorful, and perfectly crispy, while the burritos were packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The carne asada was cooked to perfection, and the guacamole was fresh and vibrant. But the real star of the night? The Quattro Leches dessert—a beautifully moist, indulgent treat that was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal.
If this is what Tacolandia is offering during their soft opening, we can only imagine how incredible they’ll be once fully up and running. Louisville is lucky to have this spot, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend checking them out. To sum it all up, Tacolandia...
