Taqueria EL TACO LOCO — Restaurant in Louisville

I'm so glad we came here tonight. I've had the flan before ever coming here today and it was the best flan I'd ever had. Memorable as my favorite. The rest of the food is on par with flavor and freshness. My spouse got a rib eye gordita, carne asada burrito. We shared some chips and queso as well as shrimp ceviche on tostada. I also got a brisket birria, a beef tongue, and a salted beef taco. We of course got flan as well. For the price neither of us thought we would get as much food as we did, we couldn't finish it all. You can tell they make everything from the table salsas to the flan. Only the second time I've had good beef tongue. 10/10...

The tacos, tortas and burritos here are delicious and from what I've seen the caldo de res here looks delicious as well although I haven't gotten to that yet, it's definitely on the list. The menu is extensive with lots of authentic Mexican dishes to choose from so if you're looking for more of a El Nopal type of Mexican than you better make it known when ordering that your burrito wet and covered in sour cream with lettuce as and tomato or just do yourself a favor and go to El Nopal. Food was ok. Flavor was good. Service was friendly. The girls serving were on time And very pleasant. And it wasn't crowded but my,only problem I had with it. The salsa was Tabasco sauce. Which isn't what salsa should be. They needed some home made chilli. And the food was extremely salty. I had the carne asada burrito and the 3 street taco plate. And WOW.
