Read the reviews about this place and I'm confused, atmosphere and service was great but my papa rellenas were frozen in the center but warm on the outside, my fries were hard you can tell they are also frozen and not made from scratch, my step mother ordered chicken and waffles and the syrup was not sweet at all, the chicken was dry and it was obviously Tyson brand chicken(I used to eat the frozen chicken patties when I was little and they tasted identical), my wife had the dulce de leche waffles she told me that the only good thing about it was the dulce de leche syrup waffles were lukewarm, my sol burger was actually really good taste wise but the meat patty was super dry. Honestly the only delicious thing there was the canned coke. And the price for the food is outrageous considering I was served frozen food, those papa rellenas really gave it away and made it obvious. As of right now I won't be coming back I don't know how this place is getting amazing reviews on the food, I hope no latinos here think this is good food cause it ain't also paying first then getting your food is a red...
Read moreMy family and I wanted to try somewhere new for brunch. After looking at the pictures we decided to come here. To start, parking is a bit tight. If you are handicapped it might be easier to park in the spots facing the street. (Obviously not the restaurants fault. Just wanted to mention that.) Upon entering this place, it is very cozy & clean. You can order to go or take a seat at one of the several tables. It's refreshing to sit at a table, and the placemats actually stay in place. Silly detail, but it was noticed. They have a lot of drink options and a good handful of food options. Unfortunately, they didn't have a couple of shake options or waffles available during our visit. Plan to go try these at a later date though. My husband had already eaten, so he just got some mozzarella sticks. My parents and I opted for some burgers and fries. Everyone liked their meals. Their fries had just the right amount of crunch, and the burgers were fresh / juicy. Overall, this place is a hidden gem I'd suggest...
Read moreI had such high hopes for this place, but once again I got disappointed by my own people. Every Cuban place in town that I go to the service is just awful. This was my experience, no one came to take our order, waited for almost 20 minutes without a single person coming to greet us or even bring water, we had to call the waitress to place our order. Then our food took like 45 minutes, mind you it was just pan con croquetas and other sandwiches, and our drinks, which were milkshakes, were made after we started eating our food and unfortunately they just tasted sweet not any particular flavor and we got three different ones. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back and supporting businesses that want to keep doing business like when they were in Cuba where customer service is...
