The Misfit Lou — Restaurant in Louisville

What a wonderful place. Food was spot-on. Made a special just ham and cheese for my 12 year old who loved it who never likes anything. 😁 Met the owner's personally. We were here for an archery tournament. Was right around the corner from our hotel and how convenient. If you're in Louisville stop and it'll be worth your time. They also have a little after hours bar. Which was also awesome by the way. Hope this is helpful. Just one more tidbit of information I wanted to add. 100 score on their health food inspection. That's unheard of. My wife was in the restaurant business for years and years as a waitress. She said no matter how many places she worked there was always something that they would find. Was rarely ever close...

We went for dinner and were the only people downstairs. We went upstairs to order and the upstairs staff were great. They even delivered our food back downstairs when it was ready. The food and atmosphere were both fantastic! The downstairs bartender was awful. He was watching a movie loudly on his phone that we could hear over the music of the bar (despite sitting 3 tables away from the bar) and we sat there staring at him for a few minutes waiting to place our drink order while he watched his movie. When we were done, we had to walk up to the bar to get his attention and ask for our check because he was still glued to his movie. We would love to go back, but don't want to risk this...

I was pretty let down on our visit today. My wife ordered a cheeseburger with just pickles but it came out with much more. I ordered the pulled chicken BBQ sandwich and it didn’t have the BBQ chips that the menu AND employee said that came on it. The chicken was pretty dry, too.

Because things are made to order, my wife watched me eat mine while waiting on hers to be corrected. We were the only people in there and there was only one worker.

It’s a very cool atmosphere and maybe they were just having an off day. The employee was incredibly nice...
