Wendy's — Restaurant in Louisville

This place is pathetic and they have been for years. Honestly, it's bad for the brand to keep this place open. It's that bad. Every fast food restaurant has gone way downhill, but this one is hilariously bad. You wait so long in line, and they never look understaffed. There's always 5 people in the window... for some reason, but the real story is coming up.

My girlfriend were craving a Wendy's burger, one night. The line took literally 45 minutes, and when we finally got home, after getting our food, and took out our burgers, they had a slight greenish grey tinge to them. We weren't sure if we were seeing it right, or just thought it had been sitting out for too long. We both ate a couple bites, and realized something was wrong. We opened up the burgers and saw that the insides were even more green, and we knew that we shouldn't keep eating them.

We tried to contact Wendy's corporate to let them know, because honestly, that's a health hazard. We emailed them, but never heard back from them. I've still never heard back from them.

Anyway, we ended up getting food poisoning the next day. A year later, I tried going back, to see if they had changed their sus ways. I mean, the burger wasn't green, but it seemed like it had sat out for most of the day, and it was pretty awful. It's sad, because honestly, I don't hate Wendy's. The burgers are some of the best in fast food, besides Steak n Shake and Hardees, but this location is just pathetic. The people there clearly don't care about food or quality. I mean it is Wendy's fast food, so it's not like I expect a restaurant quality, I just expect my burger to not be green... lol

Never go here. Don't waste your time. Maybe they'll do something about the staff, or give them the...

First off, I love Wendy's.Their food is great, their app is easy to use, and they have great offers usually.

However, the Wendy's on Mud Ln is one of the worst fast food restaurants I've visited. Why? Because:

1. They are constantly understaffed, resulting in a drive thru line out to the road,
2. The order is wrong half the time, either having left cheese on my wife's food, which she can't eat, or giving me a ln entirely different drink than I ordered, and hoping I don't notice, because they are out of the drink i actually asked for.
3. They are constantly closing their lobby WITHOUT NOTICE. This is by far the most frustrating, as I purposefully order carryout out the app to avoid the 20-30 minute drive thru line (not an exaggeration), only to find that the doors are locked, and my food is now waiting on their counter for 30 minutes as I wait to get to the window. UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. If you close your lobby, the app should reflect as such, so I can choose to dine elsewhere, or refund my order immediately, instead of the long process of contacting corporate to do so.

In short, this Wendy's either needs to hire sufficient staff to run the location properly and offer benefits to discourage high turnover so the staff actually know what they are doing, or corporate needs to find management that will, because this store is not doing the brand any favors...

Food tasted good, staff is polite and friendly, however horrible cleanliness and quality and very unprofessional.

I ordered a burger with only cheese. After making a complete lap around the dining room to find the table that was least dirty and sticky, I discovered my burger was dressed entirely wrong so I took it back to the counter to have it fixed, the staff was very understanding and was more than happy to fix their mistake. While I was standing to the side waiting for the fixed burger I witnessed two incidents by two different employees toward the direction of the drive through window.

1. an employee placing nuggets into cardboard holders accidentally dropped a nugget on the floor and instinctively reached down with the tongs, picked up the nugget and placed it into the holder with the others and set the holder on the rack with all the others ready to be sold.

2. about a minute later an employee making sandwiches tossed a wrapped sandwich toward the drive though so that it could be bagged and handed out the window. Except the attempted target of the counter was missed and it went straight to the floor and rolled/slid across the drive through area. As you could guess it was then picked up and put into a bag before being handed out the window a few...
