This Wendy's (Bardstown Road & Grinstead Ave.) is absolutely the WORST I have EVER visited.The lights are ALWAYS OFF, so it looks closed. And, 75% of the time, THEY ARE CLOSED! IDK why a corporate Mgr. hasn't driven by & reprimanded the supv.'s at this rest., numerous times. I live within a few blocks, & I have ATTEMPTED to eat at this Wendy's location 13 times over the last six months. literally getting to order thru the drive thru 3 out of the last 13 times, since January 2019. The store hours ste clearly posted lin the door, close at 1am!!! This store closes before 8pm, & the staf is rude, always standing at back door smoking, barking out lies to each customer, saying the stove is broken, the electric is off, & they don't have enough employees to service the 2 customers in drive thru. We say in drive thru for 20 min one night, finally pulled around to window, to be told, with very bad grammar, that they were closed because they're sent enough employees ( 4 employees starting thru window at me, & 1 was on her cell phone) ... she was really annoyed that we pulled to the window, interrupting her cell call, & said we scared her, & at 8:16pm, Friday night, they were closed! She was rude and very condescending. I have NEVER seen a restaurant more poorly managed. I've never been given warm food. I actually had enough negative, rude and condescending antics, along with cold food, and this store NEVER BEING OPENED, sooo, I drove to Dixie/Hill Rallys, and won't go back to Wendy's. After nearly 2 years of Wendy's being closed, I have haff enough. I thought, by now, corporate or management would have cleaned that restaurant up ans related the incompetent rude agne poorly trained crew....
Read moreI hate to post this but, it's a safety/health concern! We came late at night but, had they told us they were closing and didn't want to mess with us all of this could have been avoided but, they didn't so we thought all was good being it was still 30 minutes from closing time on the open late sign! We spent most of the night at the hospital where my guy couldn't eat due to emergency surgery, so needless to say he was starving by the time we arrived, like I said it was late I asked if they were still open & they said yes, we ordered single cheeseburgers, was told they were out and only had juniors which should have tipped me off but it was late and I was tired but I thought junior was fine but, bout the time I took the first bite the smell hit me and I spit it out, I think they microwaved freezer burnt rotten meat for like 30 seconds and put it on a bun, it was raw and smelled awful definitely not just a raw smell, I ate 2 fries and they were old&cold, makes me mad cause they could have made him sick and he had been thru enough, getting hurt at work, traveling to Louisville every other day for surgery/appts with the end result being plates and screws in his hand, can you imagine giving someone food poisoning on top of all that, I really want them to think about that, whoever was working that night should be wrote up and made to learn proper food safety, like I said they should of just turned us away, I could've respected that instead of trying to give us food poisoning and still leaving hungry as when we arrived after spending over 10.00 for nothing but a bag full of trash!!( Looking at my Google time line I arrived at 12:32am Feb 11th just in case...
Read moreWe left the Zoo and of course had kiddos hungry, we stop in I’m concerned about kids not paying attention to the atmosphere truly until I see a woman sneeze and cough right into her hand and bare hand grab our nuggets to put in a box. That’s when I fully examined the area there was melted ice cream all over the place. Not one employee handling anything where doing so in a food handlers safe way. I requested a refund the manager came up and was eating food as she was trying to give me the refund she then tells me I’m lying never swiped the card I was trying to put the money back on. She could barely understand English which caused a language barrier. There was one sweet employee who was trying her hardest who informed me the crew including the manager on shift Jennifer refuses to give this girl management contact info or anything. I then in return have to call the police to get a refund a refund a good way to waste our police time to come deal with this right. Thankfully they were very nice and came back with cash in hand and it made me question why couldn’t they just give me a refund as well this is ridiculous in many ways. I’m more so worried about the work place environment,. The fact their was no health code letter on this building no one in that building even acted as if they were certified and if they were they forgot everything they learned.
