Went thru drive-thru and ordered a number 10 (original chicken sandwich) and a big king meal. First the person working drive thru was obviously less than thrilled to be there. He never gave us our change. When i bit into the burger it was so cold it made me gag and was thrown away. The chicken sandwich we recieved wasnt even the right chicken. It was supposed to be na "original chocken sandwich) instead we got a breaded chicken breast on a round bun with bacon, swiss, and what i can only describe as a rancid sauce. It was discusting and smelled horrible, couldnt even attempt to eat it she spit it out before she could even chew. Then, one meal was supposed to come with onion rings... there were exactly 4 onion ring in the box thats it! And they were like rubber. Apparently when they arent busy they just serve whatever has been sitting there instead of making fresh food with the xorrect portions. This was the first time at this location, but it is always a roadtrip stop to share a little chicken with our dog. Im not even being dramatic qhen i say our dog stuck her face in the bag and turned around and layed down in the backseat. Ive worked in fast food and other restaraunts(and yes burger king was one of them) not only would i never have served a cutomer what we recieved today, i would be embarassed if anyone onmy crew thought that it was ok. I will not be back to this location, its discusting. If this is what they serve everyone im surprised they havent gotten shut down for making people sick, not...
Read moreI , speaking from working in food service and restaurants all my life, understand what may be happening here First, people were anticipating this store opening, and the volume of people who came and the business they received from the people was much much much more than they expected , and they basically got hit hard and slammed. When that happens, they are usually not prepared for it with inventory let alone staff. And cleaning is hard when you are nonstop busy! It's hard to tell someone to hold on and make em wait even longer to go and clean. But I'm sure they are hiring more ppl and much more experienced people after this. Unless you can relate or understand things like this, itbisnt cool to knock em or compare them to the old BK. Give them a better chance and let things cool down and the newness wear off! As far as food safety and policy, yes, hair restrained and gloves know and handwashing are a must! I think everyone who works there or in food should take ServSafe! Temps and food handling and danger zones and proper procedures must be taught! Maybe suggest brong iij n these concerns and issues of yours to the manager in a note or card or paper so they can address it properly! Not attack them or go behind their backs or spread gossip and drama and more negativity! Help encourage and support and build up this new store and its employees!!!! I know some otto ne who just got hired there and is hoping to make an impact and improve the store and be a great fit there! I'll bring these issues to her...
Read moreUnfortunately, my experience is consistently bad here. Let me first say I really dislike leaving bad reviews, but I can't recommend this location at all. The people are nice enough and unfortunately, that's where the positives end. 20 minute wait at the drive through this morning and I was the third car in line. (I get it- there are signs posted everywhere about staffing issues once you get up to the window, unfortunately once you get up there to read them and realize what's going on you are locked in line and cannot get out) There appeared to be one person working that was literally taking an order and then walking back and cooking it, handing it off and then taking the next order. It was about seven minutes per car with this method. When I received my order it was the wrong sandwich, the egg on the sandwich was burned, the hash browns were burned, no napkins in the bag and no ketchup that I asked for. She was already gone to the back by the time I discovered some of this not in the bag, and I knew she wouldn't be back for another five to seven minutes, so no way I was waiting more. I waited twenty minutes and paid ten dollars to throw eight dollars of inedible food in the trash... at least the prepackaged orange juice was good. ...
