Ozark Mountain Grill — Restaurant in Lowell

Sunday 8pm. Not busy, empty except for one other table. Waitress, Edith, took too long to bring menus. Ordered pork chops with corn and cabbage. A huge roll came with dinner but was not hot or even warm. Plates/ portion size are large. 2 Pork chops were very good, but a little over seasoned. Fried cabbage was tasty. Corn wasn't buttered or seasoned at all. The check was brought in the middle of dinner, which is a big turn-off for me. Dessert was not offered, so I did not order any, even though I wanted to try one. None of the plates were removed until after the check was paid. We came by in the morning( Monday at 10 am) to get breakfast. Veronica took out to go order. She was super attentive and friendly and sold us on multiple pies. Black forest cheesecake, the grinch pie, and a slice of cake. All looked delicious. I had a mini breakfast with extra bacon and extra butter, which had ample eggs. Bacon was cooked perfectly, a little crunchy but yet still soft. The order was perfect. This place needs more staff...

Ok, the food was so dang good! Kind of a shocker considering you're inside a gas station, but the pulled pork over the tots, holy cripe delicious. Wife had chicken quesadilla and it was huge, she couldn't eat it all but wanted to because she said it was amazing. Here's the bad, the service is horrendous. One lady serving tables was probably fine considering the size of the place but she kept disappearing and no one even brought us menus for at least 10 mins. One guy standing at the bar area was casually chatting with a (customer) who seemed to only buy a soda, meanwhile he couldn't be bothered to come bring us menus or get drinks. After we got our food (a long time later), everyone working there seemed to disappear. It was 530pm btw! They were all gone, we questioned if we needed to pay or what?! Bc no one was over there, what a bad business and service. You could be great with food like that, but alas you'll lose business for slow and...

I went their with 11 people because we heard there food was great. We get there and we order our food. It takes about an hour for the first plates to come out. I understand due to having such a big order. Everyone gets their food and after 20 minutes of waiting the waiter comes and asks if everything’s good. I still haven’t gotten my food. The guy had to re ask what my order was and make it. By then everyone was done eating. Also the steaks where none edible the fries you couldn’t even bit into. Their eggs had green stuff all over them. When trying to tell them what was wrong they walked away mid explanation. A new guy comes and tells us we need to be patient since there were so many of us.
