Stone's Throw Pub at Shady Brook Farm — Restaurant in Lower Makefield Township

We went here last night for dinner after we finished their drive through lights (which were always amazing, btw). We walked in, grabbed a table, and went up to order food. We ordered two salads, two flatbread pizzas, and a grilled cheese. The order was placed at 6:10, and it was placed with a young man at the bar. We waited for our food. And waited. And waited. And waited some more. Our food arrived all separately, and it didn’t arrive until 6:50. Forty minutes. For two salads, two small flatbread pizzas (plain and pepperoni) and a kids grilled cheese. I went up and asked the young bartender (probably 6:40 Ish) why our food was taking so long (we saw other people getting served) and he responded “we’re short staffed.” I feel like that’s something you should say when two people with three children order dinner? The grilled cheese came out. It had apple sauce, no spoon. He gave us a fork, fine. The salad came out. No fork! I went up at 6:48 and asked for a fork and where our other food was, and he said “we only have two people working, do you still want a fork?” I’m not sure how else he expected us to eat. All in all, I would not come here again. My salad was not made properly and was missing stuff. The pizza tasted like Chuck E Cheese pizza. Super frustrating and all of that cost...

Writing as we wait for our food. Ordered sandwiches thats right sandwiches over 80 minutes ago. If could give a zero star rating would...terrible. Please know i understand there is a pandemic but we ordered sandwiches!!! As a further update we found a manager who immediately brushed us off and instructed the waiter to find someone else to handle the situation. Short bald guy mid 50s. What a joke! One final update Miguel a different manager learned of our delays and dissatisfaction he quickly jumped into action to apologize and provide an explanation of the delays. Outstanding...

Amazing experience! Brendan( the manager) was extremely informational about the beer/ wine/ cocktails served in the bar. Amazing events held around the bar from live music to cornhole!!! Quiet/ relaxing spot to hang around during the week but great beer garden atmosphere on the weekends!! A must see place to go! Prices are great! Drinks are amazing! All the bartenders were social/ outgoing/ and helpful top to bottom. Kinda hidden in between the market and garden center but literally right on property!...
