This is one of the best steak sandwiches I've had in the area, maybe the best. I've lived in the Philly area for 40 of my 61 years and I've lived in Blue Bell (Pudge's), I've worked in Roxborough (Dalessandro's), and I've lived on South and Lombard (Jim's), not to mention Pat's and Genos. I recently moved to Bryn Mawr and was looking for a good cheese steak. The other night, My daughter and I decided to take a snowy walk to Bubba's and try it out. They were obviously busy but everyone behind the counter was friendly and attentive and courteous. We each had one using Cooper American and fried onions. This is an incredibly easy thing to get right so there’s no excuse for getting it wrong. Beyond that, none of the ingredients seem to be particularly high-quality. The meat wasn’t bad, but not great. The bread may or may not have been a day old, but it didn’t seem incredibly fresh to me. I paid 23 bucks for the cheesesteak, fries, and a Coke I’d shrug it off, but for 23 bucks i expect...
