The owner is an older Italian man. He has a personality and is not the most accommodating. Like many older people, he is set in his ways. But you can tell that he is extremely hardworking and has a good heart. If you like to have small talk he will definitely strike up a conversation with you when you walk in- probably in a slightly grumpy-ish character, it’s part of his charm. I saw a comment that said he is like the Seinfeld soup guy and I have never agreed more😂😂 Dont try to adjust anything on the pizza, he wont do it.
I have had him hung up on me on the phone before, don’t try to make conversation over the phone. If you have trouble ordering on the phone use UberEats pickup.
His pizza, especially the pomodoro romano is to die for. I tried the famous pizza places in Philly and New York but nothing compared to the caramelized onions here its actually the best thing ever. My boyfriend and I always make an experience out of getting his pizza and have fun with it. His food is truly worth it.
However, people like me who are a bit socially anxious or if you are inflexible, do not lose out on the great pizza and do this: call in 20 minutes before you want your pizza, look at the menu before hand and know exactly what you want. I have never anything delivered but I do pick up and the pizzas are always fresh and warm. The pizzas take 20 minutes because he hand kneads out the dough and puts it in the brick wood oven after he gets your order. You can see him make them if you order in and wait for your pizza!! FYI you cant eat in the store.
Please please please try this pizza and give the old man a chance. He is difficult but he is hardworking, good hearted and charming in his own way. At the end of the day, if everyone is perfectly nice and well-mannered what fun...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience with Felicia’s Pizza Kitchen in Ardmore. I called at 6 to place an order and the person, who I assume is the owner, was very rude. I told him what I wanted but told him I wasn’t able to pick up until 7. He was annoyed by that and then annoyed when I asked how large the personal size was as I had never been there. Right at 7, I went to pick up and when I walked in, I said I was there for pick up. He asked what I was picking up and I said I was picking up an order and gave him my name. He proceeded to start yelling that I wasn’t the only person picking up an order and how was he supposed to know what I was picking up. He took my name when I ordered so I’m not sure why he wouldn’t be able to figure out what I was picking up. And if he clarified that he wanted to know my specific order, I would have been happy to let him to know. It was a Wednesday and I was the only one there. I was stunned by his actions and said forget it. Maybe he was having a bad day, but that’s no excuse to treat customers so poorly. I was really looking forward to trying Felicia’s but I will be finding another...
Read moreAbsolutely unreal. I wish I read the reviews BEFORE ordering from here. I placed an order at 4 PM to have a 6 PM pick up. My order was delivered at 6:17 upon taking the pie from the delivery person. I noticed how the boxes felt cold. I brought it back up to our kitchen every single pizza we ordered had to have been sitting there for over well over two hours… The whole point of a specific time for pick up is so when you get it it’s warm for scheduled time. I called the restaurant to see when it was made, and if it could be rectified, because the pizza looked like it had been sitting all day… I was rung out by a man on the phone. I’ve never been talked to so rude and considering I am in a customer service job I would never ever talk to a customer the way that he talked to me. He was super Condescending and yelling at me, told me that I was arguing with him when I was just asking what time our pizzas were made. I will never order here again. Please take your business elsewhere, no one deserves to be talked to in the fashion that he did, not sure how he still has customers since I see reviews now of...
