China Wok — Restaurant in Lower Providence Township

My experience was great. The cashier was very nice, and when our food was a tad bit undercooked he gladly took the money back. Great food and experience. These cooks know what they are doing, they made the best Chinese food I have tasted in the East Coast. I would gladly recommend this restaraunt to anyone. Even if you don't live in King of Prussia, PA take a flight over here and try thto food. Amazing. I am speechless. Five stars is not enough I would give them six if there was such a thing. We went at 10:00 and with 13 people and food was great at that quantity. The chicken in every dish was cooked to perfection. These chefs deserve more than what we gave them. They are world class. The restaraunt was great too. Seating was abundant. Each table came with a spoon and fork, and soy sauce. There was a nice HD tv to watch while we ate. The waiters and cooks did not disturb us, and we had a great time. Writing this review is only doing China Wok a small favor. They did us a big favor by serving us hot food when most restaraunt would be closed. I live in Virginia. I will never forget china wok. I would come to visit as much as I can. My son wanted Chinese food last night and we usually order out and pick up. My wife said lets go to China Wok, they have sit down and we haven't sat down for Chinese food in a long while.

Glad we made that decision. The food was excellent. It was brought out a la carte style, hot and fresh from the kitchen. Our server was wonderful and attentive. When my daughter was hesitant about her skill with chopsticks, our server came back with a rubber band and explained her 'cheat method' on how to learn to use them. :)

Who I presume was the owner was pleasant from behind the counter, smiling, greeting us as we came in, and thanking us for stopping in. I think she even made a point to thank me by name after I had paid and we were on our way out. As the icing on the proverbial cake, she offered us a lo mein entree for no extra charge as we were finishing up.

Going out it what I missed during Covid and there are too many places now that don't do as much in person anymore. Relegating themselves to take out or delivery only. It was refreshing to not only be able to enjoy a nice sit down in a clean, well kept restaurant, but to be greeted and recognized as a customer by the owner. Customer service goes a long way and it isn't forgotten, whether it is good or bad.

Visiting the area for the weekend and staying in a hotel near here. Ordered online on our way back to the hotel. It said 15 minutes and I got there about 10 minutes later so it wasn't ready yet. Super friendly staff, had a nice conversation and they were very pleasant. I mentioned staying at a hotel so they thoughtfully provided all the plates and utensils for us too. They gave us some extra goodies as well and really just nice customer service.

Got to the hotel and started in the food. I always judge restaurants by their egg rolls first. Pork egg roll was delicious, maybe a little greasy but wonderful taste and fresh.

Chicken lomein was excellent. Noodle text was spot on and flavour was great. Simple dish and done well.

Lemon Chicken. I don't see this on menus by where I live, but the chinese restaurant I grew up with this was my favourite. This was totally spot on and was delicious. 2 big pieces of chicken sliced up with the veggies on the side. Lemon sauce was sweet, but not overly so with a good lemon flavour. Chicken was enough for 2 meals. This was fantastic and just like I remembered having years ago.
