I am currently staying here with my husband and son for a basketball tournament. Let me say, there are plenty of other hotels in the area to stay at other than this one. If you choose to stay here do not stay in room 407. Especially if you have allergies or any respiratory issues. The smell of mold and mildew in this room is overwhelming. The room is cold, clammy and damp. So much in fact the sheets on the bed and towels are damp. It is disgusting. Then there’s the overall appearance of the room which is just dingy. After we checked in I immediately went back downstairs to switch rooms and told the representative I could not physically stay in that room because of the smell. I was told that the hotel was booked for the night. And to come back in the morning and the staff could help me switch rooms. She said she would leave a note for the morning staff. She did offer one other available room for me to switch to, but then stated it was on the 4th floor as well and didn’t think the smell would be much better. Ummmmm ok?? Pretty sure my complaint is not the first they’ve received about this issue and judging by the painted over water stains throughout the building they’ve tried to conceal it for awhile. I got up first thing in the morning and went back downstairs and was greeted by, David, I believe. He seemed ok at first but once challenged lost all if any problem solving skills. He became extremely confrontational, rude and downright disrespectful! He told me the hotel was booked and to come back at 3:00 when it was check in and see if they could switch my room but it wasn’t a guarantee. I told him my day is busy, I won’t be around for 3:00 and asked if he could put a room on hold for me. He said no he can’t all the rooms are dirty and the hotel is full. I asked when check out was. He said 12:00. I asked if I came back at checkout, could he would switch my room then, he still said no because the rooms are not clean. I guess I just didn’t understand what he was trying to tell me. But, it was evident that he didn’t want to help or be bothered by me. So I proceeded to sit in the lobby and wait until the first family checked out and went back up to the desk, where he states what do you need… like he didn’t remember who I was 3 minutes ago. I told him they just checked out can you check us into their room? He said no, I asked why? The room is now available, if it’s the same size as ours now, why can’t we take that room? He states in a raised and annoyed voice, because you can’t, I stated again, they just checked out, that leaves an open room, we should be able to check into it right? He raises his voice, can you give me a minute, I need a minute. I said sure, I’ll give you a minute, he states again with a raised voice, you’ve got to give me a minute. I told him, I’ll give you a minute, I have no problem giving you a minute. I’ll even give you two minutes and I’ll be waiting right over here in the lobby. He yells yeah give me a minute Jesus Christ…. I lost it with him at that point and verbally spanked him in front of the entire lobby for swearing and being so disrespectful. Let me add, after this interaction with him I learned from other parents in our basketball family, that he had been very rude and disrespectful to them as well when they had questions or concerns. After waiting not only one minute not even two minutes, but over an hour. He finally switched my room. Which was not great but better. Again, I would not stay at this hotel if you can avoid it. We are also Hilton Honors members but, I really don’t think that means much! I’ll be waiting for an apology response to come in like it has in response to all of the other bad reviews over the past 11 months. I can tell you from experience, nothing in this hotel has changed. I will say instead of calling the number they give you for Hilton member services, I’ll be calling the BBB, maybe the code enforcement officer for this area, or… there must be a health...

I’m a Hilton Honors member and when booking my reservation, I specifically asked to be put in a room on a high floor and to have extra towels. I do the Check-in with the app and digital key. I arrive around 5 PM to find that I’ve been put on the main floor literally 5 feet away from the main desk/office. We arrive at the room to be greeted by a huge bag of garbage - nice. I go in the room to find 2 lousy towels. Great to know this location looks at the special requests. We then decide to get a snack at the little store area. The guy behind the counter isn’t behind the counter but in the lobby watching TV. When we try to pay for some candy, with one of the kiosks, The Nestlé crunch bar wouldn’t scan so we had to disturb the front desk guy from watching TV to help us. Apparently, the Nestlé bar was not in the system and the candy bars ranged from $2 to $3 - of course he charged me $3. We left for dinner and when we came back he was sitting watching TV, again. We had gotten cheesecake from the cheesecake factory, and I went over and asked him if he had any plastic forks we could use. He shook his head and mumbled something, and I took that to be a no, yet the next morning during the free breakfast, there were plenty of plastic forks so I guess it was too much trouble for him. I will say that the room was pretty clean although outdated. The toilet never shut off and ran water all night but I didn’t dare tell the guy at the front desk ( I mean lobby TV) because I knew he’d be no help. The next morning we go for the breakfast. No oatmeal, no waffles, the toaster has to be unplugged otherwise it will never pop up and they have Fox News playing. Really?? The only good I can say about this hotel is that the breakfast ladies were very nice and attentive. This is not a hotel I will return to, nor would...
Read moreUDATE 2025- Nothing has been updated since the first time we came here. Outdated rooms with worn furniture and stained carpets. The light in our bathroom wasn't working, so we had to request maintenance. The breakfast has gotten worse. Dried out sausage every day except 1. That day was bacon that was like jerky. And nothing is ever hot. It's barely lukewarm. David, who works the front desk, was very rude and not at all helpful. I asked for some forks and he said they don't have any. The manager told him to get some from the coffee area. He literally slapped them in my hands. He refused to give us napkins. Then proceeded to slam things around in the coffee area like he was having a tantrum. On the 3rd night of our stay, we were downstairs playing cards, and at 9:30 he started flashing the lights off and on to get us to leave. We're looking for other accommodations next year.
.UPDATE 2024. This place has seen very little updates since the first time we stayed. It's still very clean, but the room is showing its age. Saggy old sofa, ottoman with rips, peeling wallpaper. The frozen breakfast sandwiches they passed out during covid were better than what they serve now. For the first 4 days it was taco meat and sausage, reconstituted eggs and dried up hash brown disks. Everything was lukewarm at best. On Friday, they had potatoes, bacon, sausage and kielbasa but no eggs. And finally, cheddar cheese for the nonexistent eggs. They used to have big bowls of fruit, now there is no fruit. Very disappointing. The internet was also very flaky. We ended up using our mobile hot spots.
2020 -Very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff is very friendly. Suggest going to breakfast earlier than later in order to have more choices. The pool is small but clean. Towels were always available. Theh only place we stay when we go to...
