Located right next to KOP mall, this restaurant is a true culinary gem that seamlessly blends the flavors of the Mediterranean and the sophistication of French cuisine with a contemporary American twist. From the moment you step through the doors and see the magnetizing décor and the digital art wall, you know you're in for a unique experience.
The menu is a work of art, a testament to the culinary prowess of the chef who masterfully combines ingredients and techniques from various culinary traditions. We tried the grilled Spanish octopus, basil pesto burrata, and Korean tacos (with filet mignon and kimchi!), from the small plates menu for our appetizers. Each dish had a symphony of flavors, a harmonious fusion of Mediterranean and French influences that elevated American classics to a whole new level. For our main course we had the Branzino and Hulo Huli BBQ chicken. The perfectly crispy skin of the branzino gave way to tender, flaky fish that had been masterfully seasoned with herbs and served with a delicate lemon sauce. It was a culinary masterpiece. Equally impressive was the BBQ chicken, a hearty classic reimagined with succulent chicken and pineapple chutney.
But what truly sets this restaurant apart is its commitment to crafting the finest cocktails. Their mixologists are wizards, conjuring up drinks that are as much a feast for the eyes as they are for the palate. We sipped on their signature cocktails, including the “Champions League” and the “Tiki Taka”, which were delightful concoctions of house-infused ingredients that made for a refreshing and aromatic delight that paired perfectly with our meal. The attention to detail in the cocktails extends to the entire beverage program. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, featuring both local and international selections that complement the menu beautifully.
The ambiance of the restaurant is a testament to its commitment to providing the perfect night out. The dimly lit dining room with chandeliers exudes an intimate and romantic atmosphere, making it ideal for a special occasion or a memorable date night. The music playing in the background added to the overall sophistication and charm of the place. The attentive and knowledgeable staff enhanced our dining experience further. They were not only passionate about the food and cocktails but also eager to share their insights and recommendations, making us feel like cherished guests.
In conclusion, this restaurant is a can’t miss. The culinary creations are unique and delicious, the cocktails are pure artistry, and the ambiance is nothing short of perfection. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a remarkable night out, this spot will exceed your expectations and leave you with lasting memories. It's an amazing...
Read moreThis is my second time around. My first time my friends and I just had drinks and appetizers (all of them were phenomenal) oyr servers name was tom (tall guy) very informative on what drinks were popular and appetizers. We told him it was our first time and he gave great reviews of the food and definitely swayed ua different ways for drinks! He did not dissappoint. He was a great server and we had a good time! My friends and I got cheesesteak egg rolls, lettuce wraps, and a margharita Flatbread 🤤🤤. My personal favorite was the Flatbread I have been salivating thinking about it for a week 😋🤤! Definitely a must when you come again. The egg rolls were decent 👌 the lettuce wraps ( I wish they gave more lettuce wraps) the rice was to die for and the fillings were great! For drinks 🥂🍹we got the tiki taka , lavender Lloyd , and the around the world.
Now it's my second time here and I'm with my family our servers name was Sarah ( I hope it's spelled with an h) she was super informative and very bubbly (I was a former server and her energy was great) I got the tiki taka again (it's fabulous)🤤 my mom got the lavender Lloyd 😋and I had to warn her they smoke the lavender (she is allergic to smoke) but she enjoyed her drink without it being smoked! My father was basic and got a captain Morgan and diet coke. Now for food. I was seriously debating on getting the Flatbread again 😍🤤because I have been salivating for an entire week waiting desperately to have it again and my mom and Sarah talked me into trying something new 🤔. I got the smoked brisket sandwich it was good. I personally did not each the bread but the BBQ flavor on meat was amazing 😙😋! My mom got the crab cakes and she thoroughly enjoyed them. My father got the tequila short ribs and he enjoyed the short rib but did not like the base of the dosh which tasted like mashed potatoes and corn. (To me it was salty) but to others it could compliment the dish! Finally we get to the best part 😍😍😍😍 DESSERT!!!! Hear me when I say this (I am not a cheesecake person) my mom talked me into the strawberry cheesecake and it was 🤤🤤 so (want to curse) (use your imagination) amazing 👏 🤩 my father got a dessert that I don't know how to spell nor pronounce but he loved it. It was a cream puff inside of chocolate pudding. ( not my thing) but my father loved it and wanted another one!
To sum it all up each time I was completely impressed and really really really enjoyed my experience I cannot wait to come again and have the Flatbread again or try something. New! Shoutout to the two servers who made both of my experiences phenomenal...
Read moreDined here 11/12 around 7:30 PM with a friend. Sat at the bar first, hostess was friendly and checked me into my reservation. Bar service was quick and good, and aged rum was priced appropriately. The bar staff did not explain to me the concept or beverage selections.
Moved over to table for dinner service. Our server was friendly and quick, but lacked knowledge you would expect from server at a brand new restaurant. He did not offer us a tour of the menu or explain the concept. I inquired about a rum beverage, the server did not know the beverages, and flipped through every page to identify which ones had rum (which I already did; was hoping for an explanation or recommendation!)
We ordered drinks and starters at the same time, again no recommendation provided for starters. We ordered chicken lettuce wraps and Korean beef tacos. The chicken lettuce wraps are .. interesting. They’re deconstructed and require you to break down cubed grilled chicken to enjoy all the flavors together. The taste was fine, but honestly not what I expected and was disappointing. The sauce provided was boring.
For meals, we decided to split a pizza ($21) and crab cakes ($35). Again, food was fine, but price point does not match the level of service provided. $21 for flatbread pizza is ridiculous in my opinion. The crab cakes were mediocre.
After dinner, we chose to box up the food and take it home. The server was ready with a check and dropped it off with the boxes, asking if we would order anything else. We elected not to get another beverage, as there are better options for desserts and drinks elsewhere. We were not told about dessert or after dinner beverages; this was disappointing as, again, no recommendations were provided.
Our total bill was $170 AND they charged us a CC $3 processing fee! This was not mentioned to us, or specified on the menu, as we would’ve paid with cash! Is this the new status quo for restaurants? The food is already priced high (IMO higher than it should be) and then they also charged us to process our payment.
All in All: still unclear as to the concept, is it about birds? Is it American food? Why are the drinks soccer themed? I am personally disappointed by the service provided. A new restaurant should be at the top of their game, and their servers should know the menu inside and out. There are plenty of other options just 10 minutes away with similar price points. I would not be back here, as there are other places that I can expect fantastic service and food for a $200 experience...
