Santo's Pizza — Restaurant in Lower Yoder Township

Okay, so I am from Johnstown and still live here. Growing up, every Friday my family would go to my grandparents and eat and we ALWAYS ordered Santo's pizza. However, I have always hated it. I know that Santo's is a huge Johnstown staple, and is famous in many places around the country. To me their sauce is too sweet, the cheese is never completely melted, the crust tastes like chalk, and it's always undercooked. I like many other things at Santo's, especially their gobs. Old World Pizza is phenomenal. Very rich homemade sauce with chunky tomato pieces. Best pizza I've had in a while! Update: I also had their regular cheese pizza with onions and a chef salad yesterday. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. I think it's the red sauce they use on the pizza that adds so much flavor. If you like a lot of crust add the thick crust option. That wasn't a problem for me though. Since my food hasn’t arrived yet I’ll update this later and just rate the service. Ordered on the slice app at 4:13 still isn’t here at 5:33. The app said 5:14. All I did was call to see how much longer and was told I should have never been given a time frame, they have one driver, and it’s the oven. Oh and BYE. Never got any apology. Horrible service.
