I had gotten run off the road, on my scooter, I was dirty, bloody, and thirsty. So I went to the Braum's on University by Texas Tech. They had a sign outside that said they were hiring and to apply online. I ordered my beverage ask a manager looking standing close by and she looked me up and down with a crinkled nose & said, "NO! We are full, nothing is open." I said, you have a sign outside that says you're hiring, my little sister is looking for a job. I checked on Braums company website, where you apply online for employment, and they were hiring 2 positions and one was for a cashier, which is the position my little sister has experience in and would like to apply for. What makes these kids think they can decide the Fate of someone else for no reason. I see this all the time especially in restaurants somebody gets a position that's Way beyond what they deserve and instead of helping others fall Fortune to that same opportunity they try to project an "all seats are taken, guys. No more room in the Inn, Joseph and Mary. Good luck having that kid you're about to drop. Merry Christmas!" I started reading some of the other reviews the only negative thing people are saying is about the staff. I read three in a row where a staff member was the sole cause of a negative experience by a customer. And from what I understand Brahms really takes care of their employees so what would be the cause of all that bitterness and wanting to project that on to the world that you're trying to feed? I give this one a "one and done" because I can't imagine a dining experience that would be so wonderful that it would make me want to go back there. Jesus himself could pay for our ticket and cook our food and I wouldn't come back. Too many other good choices on the strip to mess with the place who discriminates against who they...
Read moreI called on my way to make sure they were opened and it rang all the way to the store… about 6 minutes and no one ever answered the phone. Arrived at the 905 location in Lubbock, Tx at 1:46 am this morning because I looked at hours and they stated they closed at 2:00 am. As I was walking to the door, a female locked the doors in front of me. I went to the door as I was going to buy prepackaged ice cream and I’m told they won’t sell it thru the drive up. I knocked on the glass and pointed toward my watch and then pointed toward the ice cream area. They all just turned around. As I was there a friend I had with me walked around to the drive up and they told her they would serve us thru the drive up in a car. I called them to make sure and they never answered again! So we go around to the drive up and there’s a Car in front of us and one behind. It appears they never took the order of the car in front as they drove on thru. I waited a few minutes for them to take my order and they never came on the speaker. So I drove on Up to the window and there was a black girl I there and she ignored me. So I tapped on the window and she did a slice across her neck gesture and turned around to finish mopping/sweeping. It STILL wasn’t 2:00 am … it was 1:58 at this time. I’m not believing these rude kids can run this place and choose to close it up at anytime. But… I called corporate today and there was no one there in customer service to answer my call at 4:55. And By the way, I am disabled and that didn’t make any difference bro the girl that locked the doors early as I walked up...
Read moreI LOVE having a Braums here in Lubbock! The burgers are delicious and the crispy chicken club is like freaking delicious!! It’s my FAVORITE!!! The ice cream is so good and the flavor options are spot on. I do have ONE complaint though, and maybe it’s lack of training or something, I don’t know. I LOVE marshmallow cream. I like it on my ice cream, a LOT! Sometimes I like mint chocolate ice cream with extra, extra marshmallow cream. I do NOT want a sundae, I don’t want nuts, whipped cream or a cherry. I simply want a scoop or two of ice cream with a few pumps of the cream on top. They say they can only make it a sundae… WHY? Is there not an add option? I’m willing to pay for it! Sometimes I prefer a cone, topped off with a pump of cream on top. Apparently they can’t do that… that’s a sundae and I’ll have to have the cone on the side! WHAT??? I don’t want a side of cone, I want the dang cone with a pump of cream on top.. I’LL PAY FOR IT!!! If I wanted nuts sprinkled on top, would that make it a sundae?? Would that have to be put in a cup with the cone on the side??? Can options not be added for a fee??...
