I ate at Jason's a few months ago, I ordered a salad and loved it. Decided to go back today. Bad decision! I ordered the salad bar and salmon. I'll break it down to each item:
Salad bar: For $8 you get a very small selection. The only meat to put on the salad bar is rough looking bacon bits. If you don't like soggy fatty looking bacon and you want meat on your salad you are out of luck at Jason's. Usually a salad bar well have ham or turkey or chicken, better go somewhere else for this. How would you like an Italian dressing on your salad? Better bring your own because Jason's only offers the creamy unhealthy type salad dressings. If you want to eat healthy Jason's salad bar is not for you!
The salmon: by far this is the worst salmon I've ever had. #worstsalmonever. The salmon was so surprisingly bad looking I took a picture of it. (Not sure how to add it to this review) The salmon looks as if it was pressed in some sort of meat press, had fake grill marks placed on it, a whole lot of added food coloring, frozen, and then microwaved right before serving. When I cut it open the food coloring was even more obvious. Taste was old fish and texture was shredded cardboard but what would you expect from cooked pressed frozen colored microwaved fish. Eat healthy, eat somewhere else
I only gave it 2 stars because last time was a good experience but the salmon and salad bar were so bad I can't imagine how a restaurant can serve it. Especially one that advertises...
Read moreWow! I want to say I have never seen the respect given to each other like I saw at this Jason’s Deli! I am from out of town and I frequent Jason’s Deli around the state. The respect I witnessed was from the managers to the staff and vice-versa. They would ask each other for something and continually said “please” and “thank you”, which is a rarity in this day and time. All of the management and staff on duty, truly seemed to be “happy” with their job as well! Now days, you get the impression that it is “just a job” to them and it definitely shows in their attitudes towards each other, including while they interact with the customers. Because of the COVID 19 virus I had not been out to eat in nearly two months. I actually decided to dine in. They are doing a great job with keeping the social distancing (ordering and seating wise) a priority. In addition, they do not have their salad bar open and I was very hesitant to allow anyone else to make my salad, however I was completely happy with the job they did on making my salad and they were very generous in their serving size. Keep up the great camaraderie and team work! Thank you for making my visit most enjoyable! God bless each of you and may your great attitudes and positivity continue to spread to all the management, staff and...
Read moreTraveling for business, it was late and wanted something not heavy or bad for me for dinner, after I worked out. Walked in around 8:30 on a Monday night... Was never greeted and they looked at me like I had 3 heads on my shoulders.... When I finally approached the employees, it was still a challenge to get a smile or even a simple greeting out of them.
Ordered a Turkey Wrap.... If this is what Jason's Deli serves, I'll never eat at another Jason's Deli again!! Dry, stale tortilla, TONS of lettuce, that tasted like it still had dirt on it, mayonaisse or something white oozing out of the end of the tortilla, but strangely.... ALMOST NO TURKEY! I did find a sliver of turkey, about the size of half a dollar bill. That's it, all lettuce, white ooze and somewhere in there I thought, mind you thought, I tasted guacamole...
Also ordered some fresh fruit, the strawberries were rotten and inedible! I wish I could post photos so you could see what I'm referring to.
BAD!! Terrible!! This location needs attention...
