Updated review - 11.29.2020 - We ordered through the mobile app with curbside option. I am so glad we did!! The drive thru was out to the street and the dining room is closed to take out or sit down dining. As before the chicken was good, love the garlic bread, fries are OK and would love to have more coleslaw...the portion is on the small side. Curbside was very quick and the employee was very pleasant and even read our note to have light ice in the beverages. Still not a fan of Canes sauce, so we made gravy at home. First time at the new location. Very upscale and eclectic in decor. Had a hard time ordering because of all the YELLING going on on the kitchen. When we asked the cashier, she said "it is called Communication so we get the oders right." Given the small menu, it shouldnt be too difficult to get order correct. The inside of the building is like a warehouse - tall ceilings, open vent system and VERY live!. We could hear everything being said in the open kitchen but had a hard time hearing the music in the dining room. The food was good - chicken very tender/juicy and love the garlic toast. The fries were crispy, but plain and the coleslaw was unremarkable. I am also not the biggest fan of the Canes sauce. It is OK, but it would be nice to have other options. I also noted there are 3 spinning disco balls with spotlights which created a strobe like effect which could be problematic for those who have seizures. If we decide to come back, we will definately be going through the drive thru so we dont have to listen to the yelling.

Thought I'd take a chance since the line next door was too long and wow it was worth it. Restaurant was extremely clean, even the bathrooms were spotless. Has an upscale decor and feel to it which is a nice change of pace for a place specializing in chicken strips, and it somehow manages to pull it off without being corny. Kind of like how Freebirds pulls off burritos. The giant disco balls are entertaining. Chicken strips are so tender they fall apart in your mouth, similar texture and breading to Bushs but a tad softer. Their cane's sauce (presumably a mayo/ketchup/bbq blend) was surprisingly good, and that's coming from me who is normally not a fan of mayo anything. Lemonade was top notch, similar to Chick-fil-A, but without the sugary aftertaste. They nailed it. On the flip side, the menu is very basic, almost too basic (no mashed potatoes, corn, or Mac and cheese here) but what they do they do well. Music is a little loud and obnoxious for my taste. And you do pay a bit extra for the atmosphere (also if you eat like I do and get the big six piece plate) But that atmosphere can be a good thing if you find yourself needing to pop in with your date for a fast food bite and don't want to feel comically overdressed. Or you are with friends and want something a little more fun. All and all, it fills a niche I didn't know was needed. Definitely plan on coming back next time my friends come visit.

My first time to Cane’s. Such great food. The service was fast and the employees were helpful, but the star of the show was the chicken. Hot and delicious. Tender strips of perfectly cooked chicken. I’m a fan. Don’t forget the little pice of bread/toast. Also delicious. And the coleslaw was tasty. The restaurant was clean and in good order. Restrooms clean. The staff did a great job taking care of a large group of collegiate baseball players that came in right after us. I was impressed with how they handled the 30+ people all at once. Kudos Cane’s.

Highly doubt this rating will affect this canes business nor do I think the owners will care but in the event someone actually reads these and by some miracle does care I will relay my experience at the drive thru today. First I would like to say Im not exactly a huge fan of canes chicken I think it's highly overrated the sauce is a no for me. Over priced small baby pieces however the Cole slaw is top tier and I will go through the drive just for that as I did today I usually swing by if I'm cooking fish or something that needs a good slaw and usually I'm the only one that eats it but today I was doing slaw chili cheese dogs for a crowd I also wanted a couple pieces of chicken for my dogs. I pulled in the drive was a Hispanic and a white kid outside both welcoming , I told them what I needed a large size Cole slaw maybe two chicken strips and asked if would it be cheaper for me to just do a kid meal or a big meal and order a large slaw with it. They both stated it would be better to just order a la cart and it ended up costing me 8 bucks. I could have ordered the big meal! With fries slaw and a drink. I asked the young man TWICE if he had me down for a large slaw he said YES TWICE. I get home and AGAIN second time now it's the baby cup. Two times I have went through the drive to order a large slaw and both times I have got home to a baby cup. Extremely frustrating especially when it was a ingredient I was using to go with my dinner plans. So now. That entire trip was a complete waste of time and money and I still have to leave my house again to go get slaw. This time I did call because I thought I was over charged and didn't get the large slaw and I was told they do not have different sizes. Now why wouldn't that kid say something so I could atleast order 5 baby cups? How hard would it have been to say we just have one size? Instead of lying to me about my dang order TWICE! Well now that I know finally ! I will not be back. I mean 8 bucks for a sample little 2 ounce slaw and 2 extremely sad looking strips nothing else Jeez the large slaw would probably cost me 25 bucks lol Please educate your employees....
