Slim Chickens — Restaurant in Lubbock

I recently visited Slim Chickens with high hopes of enjoying a chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. From the soggy bun to the undercooked fries and poor customer service, I was thoroughly disappointed.

Let's start with the chicken sandwich itself. The bun was inexplicably soggy, which made for an unappetizing and messy eating experience. It lacked the freshness and quality that one would expect from a fast food establishment. It is essential for a chicken sandwich to have a well-textured bun that complements the filling, but Slim Chickens fell short in this aspect.

The fries were equally disappointing. Instead of being crispy and golden, they came out undercooked. It was evident that they were merely taken out of a frozen bag and thrown into the fryer without proper attention to cooking time. This lack of care resulted in an unsatisfactory side dish that failed to live up to its potential.

Adding to my dissatisfaction, I found it disheartening that Slim Chickens charges extra for a side of sauce but fails to deliver on this promise. It is understandable for a restaurant to charge for additional condiments, but it is unacceptable to not provide what customers have paid for. This leaves a sour taste in one's mouth, both literally and metaphorically, as it reflects a disregard for customer satisfaction.

Furthermore, I encountered an issue with one of the locations regarding a refund. Despite bringing the matter to their attention, they failed to provide me with the refund I was owed. This lack of accountability and customer service is highly concerning. Customers should feel valued and respected, and it is disheartening when a business fails to meet these basic expectations.

Overall, my experience at Slim Chickens was extremely disappointing. The chicken sandwich was subpar due to a soggy bun, the fries were undercooked, and the refusal to provide the extra sauce I paid for was frustrating. Additionally, the lack of resolution regarding a refund from one of the locations further contributed to my dissatisfaction. I hope that Slim Chickens takes these issues seriously and works towards improving their food quality, customer service, and overall experience.

November 5th, 2019 5:58pm-7:21pm I was terribly disappointed for this place. The meal was correct for me and my guest however there is no mayo for my chicken sandwich and also a small amount of rotten or very brown lettuce . My guest had a hair on their toast ruined our appetite for the whole meal and made me very leary of any more of their food of the place. The cashier's name is not displayed and on the receipt it says "Test Cashier 1" I find that leary and unprofessional. However she had a great attitude. There was only a skimpy side of Mac and cheese as compensation for hair in my food. Hair nets need to be supplied to their employees if they are handling food most of the employees hair in the back was quite long and makes me concerned. I and my guest will not be eating here ever again. The manager was polite however my guest had felt ill and we didn't really eat our food. No refund was provided either so it was a complete waste of $20.86. bathrooms were clean. Some of the tables were not clean and there was over 11 employees as far as staff. I fail to understand why tables were dirty. Also their free WiFi cut out completely on my phone and would not reconnect which is bad for college students or people applying for a job. Over all staff is friendly but pesters everyone in the lobby every 3 to 5 minutes you can't really enjoy your food. I and my guest will not be returning. Based on several issues with this...

Employees are very unprofessional and are also rude when me and my fiance walked in the door they did not greet us and when we got a cup of ice water they were extremely rude... the atmosphere in the lobby is completely disgusting the floors and the tables both are extremely sticky the bathrooms are disgusting and most definitely need some cleaning time.. it was about 4:00 p.m. when we came the restaurant was too dead for the lobby to look the way it did but instead of doing the job that they signed up for like welcoming their customers or cleaning and making sure everything is up to par, they would rather be in the back laughing and talking loud enough where you can hear them all the way across the store this is not the first time I've been in this restaurant and it's been like this so needless to say this is one location I will probably never come to again and me and my family eats them chickens pretty regularly and it's sad to see that this location is going down the way it is I hope to see some changes but the way things are going now I honestly don't see it happening in the near...
