Asked repeatedly for vanilla shake still never got it. There was a line so I was not waiting. Called to let them know I got the wrong order even after telling 2 people what I wanted and was told she checked them all. If that were the case they would have all been right. And they would not have asked me to bring them back. Which I could not do because I live 30 minutes away. It should not take 2 people to take an order. The first could not even do it with 2nd telling him what to put on them. Meanwhile I have 2 burgers that had to fixed by me. That is not why I get fast food, to come home and rearrange burgers add cheese and mustard. And certainly not to be called a liar while I am looking at the burgers. And when the guy told me that they did not have malts and I said give me a shake. He said ok. Couldn't wait on it. I was told I could talk to Cathy the manager in 30 min. when she returns. I can just forgo eating there and save myself the trouble of feeling I have to open the bag and inventory my order. Or just give up trying to get a correct order. This isn't the first time it happened. It is the first time I complained. This was frustrating for me and I do love sonic but I suppose they have forgone the customer is right policy. Not happy I added 1 star for the number of burgers...
Read moreNormally, I'm pretty lenient when it comes to food service. I know the job can be tough at times and, honestly, I worked it for several years and understand that things can occasionally go wrong.
Unfortunately, this Restaraunt went well above and beyond in trying my patience today. At 12:35, I rolled in, parked, and placed my order. At 12:50, I pushed the button a second time to question why it had taken 15 minutes already. The button blinked for an additional 3 minutes before someone answered, and after asking and being told "its rolling out now", took an additional 7 to arrive at my truck, which was parked within eyesight of the door. 25 minutes was the time elapsed to receive my food. By this time, my lunch break was almost entirely over and I had to drive back to work.
This would not have, by itself, warranted such an extensive negative review, as it is rare that I have this much to say, but it wasn't the end. My burger, a biggie cheese, was moderately cool when I bit into it, the cheese was in no way melted, there was very little of any of the sauces on it, and the entire thing was smashed together. My medium order of tots was only two thirds full, and my route 44 ocean water was heavily watered down.
Never before have I been this disappointed in so much at once. Usually, any one aspect is forgivable for me, but cold food delivered late with no communication from the people making it while you watch seven cars that arrived and ordered after you leave first, and the drive through get cleared not once, not twice, but three times, is too much for me to let go. Pictures have...
Read moreI have has multiple bad experiences with customer service at this location, but this morning is the last straw. The W Frank location is notorious for taking 30 minutes to crank out the most basic order during busy times, but when I got in this morning at 6:40 on my way to work I was reasonably optimistic seeing as there were only 3 cars in the drive through.
I pulled up to a stall and placed my order and sat and watched as the (frankly rather useless because the wait time is the same) drive through moved six different cars. The truck that was across from me had been there for an indeterminate amount of time before me but was waiting just as I was. I sat and waited there for my order for 20 minutes, officially making me late for work so I left. The truck was still there waiting when I pulled out.
I understand that the drivethrough is the priority, but as someone who as worked in fast food: it doesn't take 20 minutes to scoop tots and put a eggs, cheese, and sausage on bun (especially considering that's what everyone else had to have been ordering at breakfast time). It's wholey unacceptable that the stalls were as neglected as they were between me and the truck that were ignored.
In the past month alone of visiting this location I've had 4 different car hops apologize to me for long waits because they were the only car hop working and they were understaffed. I do not blame the employees but I do blame sonic. Please train your employees better or hire more people. If this is a staffing issue, it is getting out of hand and you have lost business...
