Wendy's — Restaurant in Lumberton

I’ve been going to Wendy since the first one in Bayamon, PR in 1978. I can say that most of the time l’ve gotten good food and good service. I understand the situation that we’ve all gone through the last three years with COVID-19. But at this site it was disappointing. I had to wait 15 minutes to be served a $5 bag , I got an Ice Tea instead of a Coke. I place the Ice Tea on the window ledge in front of the open widow drive through to get the staff attention, it’s funny I had not moved and they thought I was the next customer in line, this having the drive through windows open, I had to call out to get the person inside so to get my Coke. I took the meal and parked in there facilities to eat it, the nuggets were cold, and half uncooked, and the chicken sandwich was cold, but the worst was the lack of people skills, not a good afternoon, or can I get you anything else, and I guess of all the fast food choices including another Wendy’s in the same town that I could had gone to, not even a Thank you have a nice day. Look all of this can be corrected, but remember it’s the customer that is driving to your restaurant, it’s these customers that are doing you the favor to visit your restaurant, they can be polite in say Thank You to you, but it is you the employee who has to say “Thank you come again” to...

Wow! This is not a fast food restaurant. Today March 18, 2019 around 6pm, we came to this Wendy’s. We went inside thought it would be fast...wrong! Stood there for 5 mins with four people in line and two waiting for orders. No orders were taken in the time I was inside. Said whatever it is to go anyway let’s try drive thru... we waited 20 minutes to just order. Order a #1, two chicken tenders and a large fry. Waited another 10 to get to the window paid for the meal, the girl at the window never apologized for the wait or any other chit-chat that a fast food employee would say. Upon handing us the change the young lady at the window said we only have one of your tenders ready it will be three minutes till it is, I suggest you get a refund instead of waiting. REALLY!?! We have already waited so long what is a few more? Now 7 minutes later we finally get the rest of our meal and again no Sorry for the wait, or You’re welcome. Wow! Just horrible I almost thought I was at McDonald’s... we will never go here again.. and we are the Wakefield family, we own more than a few businesses in the Wake Forest area in Wake County NC. There was a long line so I went inside to order and was told only online pickup could be in lobby and I’d have to go through drive thru. OK understandable. I wait in the long drive-through wrapped around the building and finally get to order. I get my food, check it and it’s the wrong sandwich. I ordered a bacon cheddar chicken sandwich but I got a hamburger with two hamburger patties and cheese on it. I go back inside to get my correct food and they tell me I have to go around the drive-through again to replace it! I say no and the manager rudely snatches it back from me and tells me that I ordered it wrong and it was rung up as a double hamburger!
