Customer service is a pivotal part into any business but highly important to sales and the food industry. Today I experienced customer service that was a little cold on behalf of management at this particular restaurant.
Upon entering the restaurant, it was observed after waiting at the hostess table a few minutes, there were wait staff behind the bar chatting but not coming to seat me. The bar attendant had to stop what she was doing to assist. Once seated and my waitress began to take my order, a member of management asked me to remove my water container or leave the restaurant. I understand policy and how and why they are in place. People will bring in outside containers with inappropriate things in them. However, after stating I didn’t want anything to drink off the menu and I have my bottle for medical reasons to include being 4 months pregnant, I was still forced to leave the restaurant or return to my vehicle to place my bottle in it (see photo).
I did as asked and upon return to my seat, My waitress was kind and did her job well by making sure my water count would be replaced during my visit. She was very attentive and I appreciated her. The food was as described and didn’t take very long to be served.
Overall, each situation is case by case and I was not given BEST practices or approach in handling this particular one as a paying customer. It’s really sad to see our society, especially leadership positions not do as expected towards customer service and overall morale and showing kindness. The customer is what keeps the business thriving! As much as the food might have been good (the restaurant had a 95.5 sanitation grade 😬), customer service matters most to me when I spend my money! I will not be supporting this...
Read moreMy advice is to never eat from this place. You order your food and they expect their customers to go back and get their own food. Two people waiting tables and not able to keep up. First screw up was the waitress that took our order got our order wrong, and our nachos was brought out with chicken when clearly was told steak. Secondly she's running around with my credit card in her hand totally lost trying to take orders, and forgets to bring out to go order to the table that was to go. We drive 30 miles to go to this restaurant and because we didn't get our to go order, management attempts to lay the blame on customers for not getting their order. Management material would've stated we will refund that order since there was an issue, but he chose to go the blame route in which his waitresses are understaffed and running around like chickens with their heads cutoff. Since he chose this route, I advise nobody to eat at this company. If he can't accept he's understaffed, and the order should be brought out to the customers tables then he's the issue and his company should go under. Nobody should be the blame here and it was an honest mistake, but for him to act as if it's his customers fault, he doesn't deserve the business or a great review. Whether he owns this business or manages it, he's certainly not management material with the attitude he's got. I will make certain to spread that he chose to not reimburse for the Togo order since his waitress can't keep up and forgot to bring people's orders to their tables. The reviews on this business speaks...
Read moreI think they should think about changing their name. We ordered wings, fried pickles, fried corn and pecan pie. But lets start with the staff. When I arrived the woman at the bar asked, what do you need (hun) you know a common southern term that is usually nice to hear. But when she said it I felt like she wanted me out of there immediately. The whole staff had seemed to not like each other. So I got my food and on the way out realized I didn’t have the gallon of sweet tea I ordered. Then the hun lady acted like I was trying to get it for free! But it was paid for and on my receipt. So, I received it and left. I brought the food home and wow! I couldn’t believe how bad the wings were for being called the wing company! They were absolutely terrible the Cajun wings were regular hot wings with Cajun seasoning dumped on 2 of them but almost none on the others. The bbq wings looked like they ran out of sauce and they were way overcooked. The funny thing is you can order them extra crispy I can’t even imagine what those are like after what I got. The fried pickles were the worst I’ve ever had I don’t even know how to describe how bad but I felt like they were made hours prior to my order. Not all was bad though the sweet tea was outstanding and the corn was average. I haven’t tried the pie yet. I’m going to do that when I finish my chick-fil-a. I had to go there...
