Country Cooking By Irene — Restaurant in Lynchburg

If there were an option for more then 5 stars, this would be it. I happened upon this place, while visiting the community market and other stuff in the area. It did not disappoint! I got the bacon plate which comes wirh meat, potatoes, eggs and a biscuit. The biscuit is buttery and flaky. The eggs are cooked to order. The bacon is perfectly cripsy. Now the potatoes, they almost made me cry. They taste just like my late mothers (ok maybe a tear formed). I haven't had fried potatoes like this in over 3 years, even though I have tried so many times. It's a small place in the back of the market, definitely worth a try if your in the area. I know it's just food but Thank you for being exactly what I needed...

If you have been hankering for a good biscuit like your grandma made, get yourself to the Lynchburg Community Market and to #10 to see Miss Irene! The salmon cakes came highly recommend by the locals and they did not disappoint! I actually had way too much food. I was so full, I think 🐷that...
