I don't come to this one often, but today I hit it about 11:15 so the lunch rush was not quite started. There were 3 cars in both the left & right lanes.
The silly part about having 2 lanes is how much it doesn't matter because the hold up is never people ordering. The hold up is the 2nd window... Where we get our food. That needs to be doubled. I thought when they added the 2nd window they would have fixed that... But no. Backlog just gets pushed to the line cook.
I ordered a single McChicken (sad that they are now $1.60 now) No more dollar menu. They think they are selling gourmet burgers LOL. $4 for Big Macs & such. Think about that... The meat is 1/10 lbs. A "McDouble" sold for $1. That's 2/10 a lb. The Big Mac has the same meat for $4. They only add that one piece of bun in the middle & you get some lettuce & sauce. RIP OFF!!
Just order a McDouble no ketchup/mustard, add special sauce & lettuce. Watch them try to convince you to change the order LOL. #lifehack
Back to the real issue. My sandwich came out tasting nasty. Like it was "sour" at least I only lost $2 & the service wasn't slow considering. I did almost get hit by the car in front of me since they decided to back up for no reason. Also they designed the drive thru so if you decide you need to leave.... You can't. Real pro move there.
Advice: Don't go when busy, learn the menu (as with any place) & order smart. Don't let them upcharge you. Pair with the app by using coupons & you can still get a fair price for the meal instead of highway robbery. A meal should NOT be over $3 for fast food. Drinks are 25 cents to make... $2.59 to charge me?! C'mon man! Hahaha $1 sweet tea for days. Then you can go inside & refill...
   Read moreThis McDonaldâs location has terrible customer service. I ordered a double cheeseburger with only cheese. Waited a long time just to get it. That isnât the problem. However, when I received it, it had onions and pickle. I took it back up to get it corrected with a nice manor only to be met with a rude employee who never said were sorry or anything along the lines. Waited over 30 minutes for them to finally re-make the burger. Not to mention the 20 min wait to even get the wrong burger to begin with. When asked where my burger is the lady says âweâre working on itâ. We asked a few times politely and was told the same thing over and over. She never said sorry for the wait when finally giving the bag. The employees âworkingâ were just standing around or bothered by the ice cream machine the whole time. The rude and impolite employee is a huge reason why this review is being made. On the other hand, the restaurant is dirty and slimy. The floor is all wet with spilled soda and lettuce, pickles and wrappers. The soda machine was filled with mixed sodas nearly overflowing (where the ice usually falls), and surrounding the soda machine was spilled soda all over where you canât even step up to make your drink. The bathroom was all wet with pee in front of the urinal, as if itâs sitting there for hours. While being at this location for an absurdly long time I never witnessed one employee attempt to clean their restaurant. Quite a few employees were walking around and did not alert the cashier to get back to her post to take orders. Most of the employees were seen through the door in the back. There were several standing around talking to those who were actually working. We almost walked out. If our granddaughters were not with us, we would have. Once we got our food, it was cold and we did not get the requested sauces. I went up front to ask for them and stood there again for several minutes before the cashier came back to the register to take the order of the lady in front of me. The cashier walked off after taking her order. My husband came and got me. He decided to deal with it. He was able to finally get someone's attention. I took my granddaughter to the restroom and it was in need of attention. The whole experience was not pleasant. We usually go through the drive thru and get fast service. The drive thru was staged very well and cars moved in and out fast as usual. Perhaps the store should close the dining room and just focus on the drive thru customers.
