I had a truly appalling experience at the McDonald’s in Lynn, MA, and it’s hard to overstate just how terrible it was. The woman at the counter, that gave me the name “Kimberly”, Spanish -speaking, displayed completely unacceptable behavior. Not only was she rude and dismissive, but her body language was disrespectful , making faces and clearly not interested in providing any level of customer service. To make matters worse, her hygiene was shocking. She touched her face and pimples and proceeded to handle both food and money without washing her hands. This is a basic violation of hygiene standards, especially in a food establishment. When I had an issue with my receipt, this woman called herself name Kimberly outright ignored me, and when I returned the order, she threw the money at me not only unprofessional but also humiliating. To add insult to injury she gave me the wrong change. When I requested to speak with a manager, she claimed to be the manager but refused to provide any contact information for her supervisor. Even worse, she started recording me without my consent after I explicitly asked her not to. Let me be clear: Kimberly or whatever is her name has no business being in a managerial role. She is completely unqualified to handle customer interactions, and her disrespectful attitude and unsanitary practices, lack of money management are a serious concern. Anyone in a leadership position should be setting an example for professionalism, knowledge and hygiene, and Kimberly is doing the exact opposite. On the positive side, Adela, another employee, stepped in and handled the situation with dignity, professionalism, and respect. She de-escalated the situation and treated me the way I should have been treated from the start. If McDonald’s is looking for a competent manager, Adela is the obvious choice. I will be filing a formal complaint with McDonald’s headquarters. Read moreToday July 27, 2022. I order at the drive through for the “2 for $3.50” meal with a Lg Iced tea. I get to the cashier who somehow says I ordered 2 McDouble’s ( which I did not, and my ordered was confirmed at the order placement). Now person at cashier was a male, person accepting my order female, 2 different people. Anyway I’m informed the 2 for $3.50 no longer contains fries as an option. I was not informed. I asked to speak with a manager and the young man asked WHY? 🙄, I did not appreciate it. I responded I’d like to speak with a manger and he asked me what my problem was, to which I responded the only problem I have is you’re not allowing me to speak with a manager. He then rolled his eyes at me. So another young man (perhaps same age as original) tells me same, I explained again my scenario , he then says I can change the order but it’s gonna cost me $8, I declined but then told him how I did not appreciate the young man not respecting my request nor him rolling his eyes at me. HIS response was that he as well was a manager. I stated, do YOU as a manager understand that when satisfaction is not obtained then someone else is usually summoned? I asked for regional manager and he told me HE was the regional manager. I asked him if HE was the one who trained him to roll his eyes at a customer if they request to speak with someone about service? That seemed to shut him up. I’ll be conferring with an owner of a franchise at another location to complain about this since I called thise stores location, and the number for this location is “not in service”. No kidding. Try the number in the site, I did it four times.
The food is McDonalds. Never gourmet but hits the spot at times but no li get priced competitively with far better fast food options. As for SERVICE? These two young men would BENEFIT GREATLY BY JOINING THE SERVICE AND KNOW WHATS ITS LIKE FO GIVE…AND GET...

They just fill up a small drink cup and pour the topping on the top, and don't even mix the topping into the ice cream like a Mcflurry is intended to be. Also ordered over 20 dollars of food from this place, went into the bathroom, came out and the lady randomlying gave my meal to some kid. Came out to get my food and she goes oh your food is over there. Get it from him. I walk over the kid is biting the big Mac and then hands me the bag of food he already stuck his hands. I went up to the counter and said I want new food. She told me that I would need to pay again because the food was sitting there for 2 mins and she thought I left so she gave it away. This place is an absolute joke. Also so many rats running around outside this place, once I seen this I would rather starve to death then go back to McDonald's as a whole, not just this location.
